FABRIC FRIDAY
Happy Friday! Now that we went back to basics last week let's spice things up a bit with a pretty print this week. I was immediately drawn to Rashida Coleman-Hale's Washi Floral Cream because of the color combination. This past year I have been all about red, teal and mustard yellow (throw in some coral and call it a day).

A striped jersey skirt I made and my Frye boots and my down jacket the skirt is long enough and the boots tall enough that I can still stay warm. Sadly if I leave the house these days (frigid Boston weather and a new baby) this is what I wear almost always. Can we say RUT.

I've been loving anything with kraft.. I think my favourite is kraft and any kind of turquoise.
Blue and yellow... then again, I almost always use blue and yellow...

Pinks and browns - I've had lots of friends having baby girls, so I have been having fun shopping for fabric to make some things for these little ones.
I am knitting a dress for my daughter in gray and bright yellow which is a combo that I just discovered I really like!
Anything with aqua, really! And of course, hot pink & sage green. My daughter's bedroom colors.. never gets old for me! :)

Such pretty fabric! I've been loving purple and gray lately.
I know it's not really a color combo but I think my favorite fabrics have been all different colors of damask and chevron stripes. I'm a sucker for patterns but an equal opportunity color lover.

I've been using a lot of yellow and gray, but I really want to try turquoise and red. (Especially in Christmas decor, although with my luck, that combo may be out by next Christmas.)
I've enjoyed anything bright or bold with a heathery grey.
I have also loved grey and yellow, but I am quickly jumping on the aqua and red bandwagon. Green is always my most favorite, though.

Where is the best site to buy wool felt in color groups of 9x12sheets? I am tired of the flimsy acrylic stuff, want a little thicker. Everything that I see online is either super cheap or super expensive, and I want lots of color choices, not yardage. Thanks for advising!
That's very pretty! And it fits in the scheme I have been loving - more, more and more colors. I guess that would be rainbow :) But then I saw this rug, it was raindrop blue, orange, yellow, with a neutral background. And I was like BAM, yep, that is the color scheme I want for my DD2's "big kid" room.

This year I have loved combinations with grey, especially grey and yellow and grey and teal. Gorgeous for baby girls and a lovely alternative to traditional pinks and reds.
I have been loving brown and orange. Also because those are my 3 year old's favorite colors!
I've been loving deep turquoise with chartreuse and white!
White on off white Shabby chic. I have also been liking black red and white, it fits almost any occasion. Zebra goes with anything!
Gray and shades of blues. Saw a friends quilt done in these colors and I fell in love.
Definitely grey and yellow! Though there aren't many that I haven't liked this past season. The red and pink with aqua is beautiful, too!

I am so digging on grey and camel together. It's a more subdued twist on grey and yellow, but very striking and 'organic' looking. I love it when color conventions (those don't go together!) get turned on their heads.

Even though it's not something I personally would wear or use for my home decor, I keep buying the pink/orange/purple combo. And then forcing my daughter to wear it!
I love grey and yellow, but I can't decide if I love it because I love it or because it's been out there so much that I just embraced it because it wasn't going away. I really enjoy all the grey and deep, dusty pink combos that are out there, too. I think my whole teaching wardrobe is made up of grey and pink.
Gray, teal and burnt orange have been my staples. Ready to change it up though.

I have been obsessed with grey and yellow ever isnce I picked sewing back up a year or two ago. But I have yet to really use it in anything. :-( I keep planning on a quilt for my daughter

I seem to be constantly gravitating toward prints in grey, red, and aqua these days.
I love it when others have made stuff in red and aqua, but I must say that most of my fabric stash involves pinks and reds with a little bit of blue and green. The different fabrics don't coordinate well, I admit...

Ooh pretty! I have been loving grey & aqua, though grey and yellow is right up there for me, too.
Jewel toned purple and faded green. A combo of bright and dull is very pretty.
As for sewing ---i have a daughter that loves teal, so I have been combining that with alot of things. My current favortie to wear is mustard yellow or chartruce paired with a navy and coral respectively.
Oooh, that's a good question!! Yellow and gray has been my favorite combo for awhile, but really I love gray with anything - even colors I don't normally like, like gray and orange or gray and pink.
gotta have purple...mostly with grey, sometimes brown.

Hmm... I've been really into this scarf that is dark grey/olive green jersey with feathers printed on it in a kind of...teal (peacock?) blue. I've also been into charcoal grey and mustard yellow.

My house scheme is Aqua, Red, & Teal (with some chocolate brown)! Still one of my favorites! I have had a thing for pairing Navy with Aqua, lately. Also, I love Kelly Green, Black, & White.
I brown, blue and vanilla but my four-year-old was born loving orange and I'm finally coming around on it.
I would have to say the coral, teal blues and purples!! I just seem to gravitate their way.

I love taupe and chartreuse! I have been hoarding aqua and red fabric for about a year now but looking for fabric to bridge the drastic difference. This fabric is fabulous!

I'm into classic combos like red, white, & navy. I just can't seem to get into trendy color combos-they just feel wrong to me! But I am going to try to mix it up this summer more with bright colors like hot pink and orange together.

Black and red have always been my fave. But, now that I have silver threads in my hair, I'm wearing more grey and silver.

Navy and mustard or navy with light brown. This is mainly in the context of fashion. I haven't tried to implement these colors in anything else. But it was a fun combo to try this season!
I definitely have been loving the mustard yellow with almost everything...navy or grey especially. But my favorite sweater to wear is a chartreuse when my husband wears this rich, deep purple shirt...the family pictures came out great!
