Cross-Stitch Quote of the Day
Jaime and I have been having some fun turning our favorite quotes from scholars, writers, celebrities, our readers, our friends and even ourselves, into little cross-stitch "patterns." We will be sharing them with you over the next few weeks.
For today I picked one of my favorite quotes from Jaime's book, Prudent Advice: Lessons for My Baby Daughter (A Life List for Every Woman). Ahhh, I need this one on my wall.
#2. Be Where You Are - Jaime Morrison Curtis
And in case you missed the cross-stitch quote from yesterday...
#1. Remember This - Marcus Aurelius
Cross-stitch is pretty much the perfect little winter craft and makes an adorable Valentine's Day gift for someone sweet. If you need a refresher course, Martha can give you the low-down, of course.

I absolutely need to read and hear this several times a day! In the acting world (Meisner) we're told to "be in the moment". Even though things may look and feel the same, embrace the newness of each moment. I tend to spend a lot of time on "next week/month/year" instead of today. Def something that I'm still working on lol.
I bought one for my friend from Chicago's Renegade Craft Fair that says I hate people ;) Totally snarky and totally my friend! It's going to go right next to the Winnie the Pooh/Eyeore Best Friends Forever cross stitch I made her years ago lol
Check out more snarky cross stitch patterns at their etsy shop here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PurpleHippoStitches?ref=seller_info
LMS-Those are amazing! Tx for sharing.
