GIVEAWAY: SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL & AN AMAZING OFFER!
You know we both love our Silhouette Digital Cutting Tool. We've mentioned it a few mil times. But just when we thought we couldn't love this fantastic machine any more they went and created INTERFACING. Yes, the Silhouette now cuts fabric!!! I know, right? The interfacing has actually been available for a few months but it was so popular that they sold out in a flash! Now it's back in stock and the folks at Silhouette have hooked Jaime and I up with some to try. And um, yes, it is A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
But not only have they hooked us up with interfacing but they have hooked us up with A SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL for one lucky Prudent Baby reader to call their own!!
But hey, there are like thousands of you, so they are also offering an amazing deal for PRUDENT BABY readers. Visit the Silhouette site, click shop, place the Silhouette SD in your basket, enter the discount code "PRUDENT" at checkout and all discounts and freebies will show up in the basket.
You get:
• Silhouette SD
• Clean Cut Interfacing
• Sewable Interfacing
• And a roll of white flocked heat transfer material
All for only $229!
Do you already have a Silhouette? Well you can get 25% off all fabric interfacing by entering "prudent" at checkout.
Offer ends Sunday, March 27th.
Read on to find out how to enter to win a SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL. Head on over to the Silhouette Site and peruse the many, many capabilities of of this magical machine.
It's going to blow your mind. Then come back here and leave a comment. In your comment tell us the first thing you would make with your silhouette. Maybe you would make some jeans with rhinestone encrusted back pockets. Or maybe you would make a window vinyl sign for your uncle Lou's Taxi. Or maybe you would make a bib with an applique of a walrus... because you can totally do all those things. So tell us what you would make, and if you can, make us laugh because laughing is what we love most of all. Even more than Silhouette Digital Cutting Tools. And that's saying alot.
You can come back every day and tell us something else that you would make for an extra entry.
Like/Follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter. We will be posting exclusive ways for you to gain extra entries there. So fun!
The winner must have a US or Canada Address & be 18+. Only one winner per household.
The giveaway will close at noon CT on Friday March 25th. A randomly selected winner will be announced Friday afternoon! Good luck!

I would make stuff for my daughters birthday!
I shared on FB
i think i would make some cutesy vinyl quotation for a wall in our master that is needing something!
I really want to make some vinyl wall decals to decorate our new baby's room and of course big sister's too!
And I like you on FB. Pick me, Pick me!!!!
The first thing I would make is a CUTE applique birthday shirt for my daughter's 5th birthday. PLEASE pick me! :)
Oh, I so want one of these! I would love to be able to cut out names and labels for birthday parties-- would be such a great way to give them a professional look. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!
I would make the fabric hair clip on Homemade by Jill.
I would make some Easter decorations!
I'd love to use it to cut fabric appliques!
The first thing I would make is an alphabet quilt.
My favorite candy is a Sugar Daddy.
What wouldn't i do with this machine! I love the t shirt transfer and the idea of cutting fabric. This would be great!
First project would be T shirt transfers - would love to have this machine!! ;)
I think I would a shirt for my husband that says "mom said no." He's a push-over and it might help my cause. :)
I'm making a couple of pennants for my daughter's first birthday party. My hands are killing me from cutting out tiny "1"s!! Silhouette, you're my only hope of salvation!
I shared on Facebook...and I love a good Twix! Chocolate, caramel, cookie. How can you go wrong?
I'd also use the Silhouette to create templates for some new paintings that have been marinating in my head!
LOL Would Totally do a temporary Tattoo party! With a little bit of drinking it could get very interesting :)
The 1st thing I would do with this is put my kiddos names on their doors! I haven been wanting to forever but haven't found exactly what I am looking for. This way I can make what I want!
I'd make spring appliques!
OMG!!!! I would love to use the new fabric interfacing to add pretty appliques for my girls' shirts!! They are 5 and 2 so I'm thinking applique nipple rings?? LOL just kidding, I'll stick to the usual flowers and such!
Oh this is wonderful. I have a dozen or so ideas just thinking about winning it. Dove choc.
I had always wished I could find a digital cutter that could cut fabric. When I read that the Silhouette can now cut fabric ... WOW! I was over the moon! There are so many fun things on their site. I think the first thing I'd do with it is make some vinyl art for my craft room. And then I'd quickly move on to some fabric flowers or some sort to put on my kitchen table!
Love it!! I would start by using it to help me make owl taggies and blankets for all my prego friends and family!
Jolene
jolenet@telus.net
i would love to make some ultra cool t-shirts for my son!
i would love some ultra cool t shirts for me and my son!
I would make vinyl transfers for my childrens bedroom walls!
I would everything from clothing appliques to wall vinyl to crafts!! I love this thing! I love the glass etching the best though!!
I would make vinyl signs for home decor.
These are everywhere in blog-land, and I'm so jealous! They look like they'd make ANY project so much easier! I love to decorate t-shirts with freezer paper stencils but often avoid some project ideas because the cutting out process would be so tedious. With the silhouette.... no problems!
I'm living in an apartment, and vinyl decor would really brighten up the place! White walls are so bland...
I would make fabric flowers for my daughter's bedroom!
Cute t- shirts with flower embellishments and some lovely matching family shirts for vacation that will embarrass everyone!
Hmmmm, thinking some cute baby onesies for one of the new babies in our group. I'd LOVE to win this LOVE LOVE LOVE!
courtney @ gcsdesign dot ca
I would make cute pages for my wedding scrapbook!
I think the bigger question is what wouldn't I make. Heck, I might even learn to sew because this thing is so cool. In fact, I see really cute clothes in my kids future.
My kids' closets would be packed full of personalized shirts, pants, pj's, socks, undies, and dresses. I would make sure they never forgot their name!! I just learned to use my sewing machine and have LOVED the quilts/shirts/projects that uses fabric letters on them.
So the first project would be a race to see if I get more projects done or a bigger mess. (I vote mess. Hubby *LOVES* it.)
I am in love with this machine.
i would make a decal for my husband's bedside table that says, "recycling does not go here." =p
I think for sure the first thing I would do is make a vinyl wall piece for my house. I think it would be something about NYC to go on my wall where we have our big NYC canvas. :)
I would have my 6 yr old daughter help me make fun decorations for her own bedroom she is getting! She is currently sharing and I know this would make her feel super cool!
ashd_smith(at)yahoo(dot)com
I'd like to make a vintage looking quilt that has applique of excerpts of my wedding vows on one half and my husbands vows on the other half. This way when we get in arguments we have to take a "timeout" and cool off while sitting next to each other underneath the quilt :)
I would make a vinyl sign that says "Family's are Forever" to put above our family pics in the living room.

The first thing I'd make?...A BIG MESS...definately. :) I'd probably go a bit crazy labeling and embellishing everything in my house. Then, after the "Silhouette Storm" passes, I'd focus on some wall art and gifts for friends and family. (You can never start too early on Christmas gifts!!)

Instead I must try and win it...which I know will never happen, but I can't help but try anyway. I would have so much fun customizing my "apparel"...and my kids! Maybe my husband's too so he doesn't get jealous. And the temporary tattoos would be so much fun, especially for my kid's birthday parties.

Felt board figures and "props."
I know I'll want to make anything and everything with this machine...but maybe for starters Id make some funny T-shirt Transfers for my husband and brother-in-law. And maybe my mother-in-law too! (haha)
If were all together it might read "Im the married one, she CAN tell the difference"
Theyre together: "Yes, were twins and yes were brothers. I bet you still wanna ask who's older (c'mon now, only one can come out at a time)."
Bro-in-law: "Dont hit me! Im not cheating on my pregnant wife! I have a twin.
MIL: "Twins! I had no idea I had 8# identical twins in my belly, no one told me. What to name them, what to name them...I guess Ill give them the same name!"
...and that is the story of my life! Seriously :(
I would love make a vinyl calendar for my kitchen, thanks!
I would love to cut out fabric for quilt applications.
Applause to all those hot mess mommy looks, but most days i look more like the "mess" than the "hot"mama. I would applique a shirt that says"I meant to look like this,"or yep that's a poo stain. You know at least then I'd be taking ownership of the frump.
So many thing to choose from, but I think it would be shirts for my boys first!
My 5 month old only spits up on my husband. I am a stay at home mom so I have her all day, then my husband walks through the door picks her up and BAM! We joke about it frequently. If I won I'd make him a t-shirt with a target and under it it would say Amelia's Puke Target. It would make a great gag Father's day gift (he might even wear it) but I'm not sure I could wait that long to see him laugh!
I would make a shirt for my hubby saying "3 months till full term" because he looks six months pregnant.

I have this big pink and brown tote bag that goes everywhere I do. In it is my netbook, whatever I am reading, a few business files and my project notebook. But the tote itself is a little on the plain side. I would make a pretty fabric monogram with the new fabric interfacing and may put some flowers on it too.

Just shared this giveaway on my facebook page!
First project with the SILOUETTE;
I would make some rhinestone templates and then adhere them to a bra that I would wear around the house on those "feelin blah" days...for a little pick me up, ya know? perhaps I'd use the rhinestone templates to fancy up a little pair of matching undies and maybe a pair of stilettos, and pretend that I am a victoria's secret model. It would be a nice change from the yoga pants and t-shirt I usually sport, lol.
Don't worry, I'll make sure the kiddies are sleeping before I whip out the "bling", lol.
Thanks for the opportunity! Now, go bling your own undies and walk down your own catwalk (hallway).

As a new mom who went through a (ahem!) DIFFICULT birth of her beautiful daughter, I am DYING to work on some new crafty projects for her while I am home on maternity leave. I think I would trick out a diaper bag with a love bird silhouette design I used in DD's nursery. We got a plain, black (gag) bag so Daddy could still feel manly lugging it--so this would be ALL for me! :)
I'd make some fabric appliques. :) I would LOVE to win this machine!
I want to use the vinyl to label things my daughter uses every day like her sippy cup, shape blocks, hair brush, etc. It can help her to recognize letters and words, plus it would be just plain cute.
My sister and I are joining our cousins to run the Ragnar wasatch back relay race. I would definetly use this beautiful machine to make vinyl decals to cover the team race vans in. plus, I'd probably make some support signs for our parents and friends to hold up as we run by...just because I can and seeing those posters would remind me that the sooner I finish the race, the sooner I could get back to my super sweet silhouette!!!
