GIVEAWAY: SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL & AN AMAZING OFFER!

You know we both love our Silhouette Digital Cutting Tool. We've mentioned it a few mil times. But just when we thought we couldn't love this fantastic machine any more they went and created INTERFACING. Yes, the Silhouette now cuts fabric!!! I know, right? The interfacing has actually been available for a few months but it was so popular that they sold out in a flash! Now it's back in stock and the folks at Silhouette have hooked Jaime and I up with some to try. And um, yes, it is A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

But not only have they hooked us up with interfacing but they have hooked us up with A SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL for one lucky Prudent Baby reader to call their own!!

But hey, there are like thousands of you, so they are also offering an amazing deal for PRUDENT BABY readers. Visit the Silhouette site, click shop, place the Silhouette SD in your basket, enter the discount code "PRUDENT" at checkout and all discounts and freebies will show up in the basket.

okay, so a few years ago, my niece, ruby, who is totally awesome, was 9 years old and she decided she totally hated the shorts from VS that said things like, sweetie, or cutie or whatever. she then proceeded to make a pair of shorts with sticky foam letters that said "saggy" on them. i would use my new Silhouette to cut out "saggy" to applique on a pair of shorts for her. nobody is ever gonna say i'm not an awesome aunt!

My daughter has about eight bins full of toys sitting on some shelves in the living room, but she can't read yet so she has to pull them down and rummage through them to find the toy she's looking for. I'd love to make some picture labels so that she knows which bin has the blocks, which one has the dolls, etc.

I would make my own vinyl wall decals for myself and friends. I found cute ones for my baby's nursery room, but it would have been so much cooler if I had been able to make them! We're redoing the hallway in my house and I'm debating on wall decals or making stencils of birch trees or bamboo, but how cool would it be if I could make my own wall decals! Not to mention the endless T-Shirts, Tote Bags, and Stuffed Animals I could customize with precision-cut fabrics and transfers...

Where to start? I'd embellish the dresses I make for my daughters and nieces, labels for everything (because I'm super OCD and have to label everything), I loved the shirt with the fleur de lis, my 11 yr old loves them, so i'd probably do her whole wardrobe and bedroom with them (we are in Who Dat! country). I love the idea of the vinyl decals. I've done some homemade vinyl with stencils and templates ironed onto clothes, but this would open endless possibilities. I'm also thinking of little summer dresses with cutouts along the hem for my 2yr old daughter and 18mo niece. I could do so much with this machine, but i'd probably stop cleaning my house. So please give it to me even though my husband will be ignored and my house will be dirty. Slhuffman37@yahoo.com
