Link Love

This week we were named one of Babble.com's Top 50 Craft Blogs of 2011 and the #1 DIY Site! What an honor! Of course we had to scope out the competition. Here are four great projects that we found along the way.

Dandelions and Lace shares this adorable Marshmallow Bunny Plushie Tute. Perfect for Baby's First Easter Basket!

Aesthetic Nest has a DIY for an Engineer Cap, originally made for Celebrate the Boy, of course.

Centsational Girl shares No Sew Cloth Napkin Pillow Covers.

And if you join Lil Blue Boo on Facebook, you can download this sweet Toddler Tie Pattern. Love the photo of her daughter channeling Annie Hall.

ALSO...

Speaking of Babble (where Jaime and I are both contributors)  Sarah Bryden-Brown, VP - Content and Community, has launched an amazing project. She is writing a book called “Momoir,” in which she will explore the huge cultural, literary and economic influence now wielded by the mommyblogger ecosystem. Read more about the project and how you can be involved here.

We hope you have am amazing weekend! Jaime is off to the desert for a lovely friend's wedding and I am taking Clare to the Ballet for the first time. What are you up to? Leave us a comment and you could score a fat-quarter of my Michael Miller bonehead.

Don't forget to enter every day for the chance to win a copy of Slow Cooker Revolution from the editors at America's Test Kitchen.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you already know what you have to do to be entered to win an AMAZING PRINTER FROM BROTHER. Everyone else will find out next Tuesday.

My daughters 2nd birthday is coming up, and though she already has presents wrapped and put away, and a few I just could not wait for her to have. My husband and I are going to attempt to build her a play kitchen. There was kitchen on a previous link love, that I just had to attempt to make a version of. I already have this gorgeous black fabric with cherries all over it for the curtains, apron, and oven mits. So our weekend will be spent building! :) Super excited

I'm going to the Dr today! Doesn't that sound like fun! Then I have to finish a blanket for a shower tomorrow and go to a quilt show/luncheon for my mom. I think I have to make a peep for the shower too just cute I wish she had the chicks up too!

I'm trying to decide between reading and sewing. I'll probably do both!

I'm sewing my kid's PJs. I scored these really cool rocket & alien print fabrics for him (picked out by him) that I hope to make into matching night cloths. I have to make some bias tape using your tutorial first but I already have a movie picked out to watch while I iron. I also hope to have enough left over to make his baby sister some matching boyish PJs. :)
