I have made the blankets and I never realized how easy it would be. There are vendors at me Local swap meet that sell them for $37-50 depending on material and I made my very own.

I made the changing pad cover with two coordinating fabrics. I love how it customizes my daughter's nursery!

I have made blankets and hooded towels, both easy to make, both less expensive and both customisable

I just made a bib and used my favorite store bought one as a template. My only regret is that it doesn't have a pocket. I'll be trying your tutorial ASAP!

Thanks for sharing!

I found your site quite by accident a month or so ago. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful projects and inspiration. I learned to sew years ago, mostly on my own but wasn't very pleased with my results. Thanks to you and many of the blogs I've found because of you, I have found the confidence to adjust existing patterns, reuse clothing and fabric in new ways and take creativity to a whole new level. I made a flannel sheet to fit a handmade cradle, which is a unique size. It's sooo easy. Can't wait to try more of these, like the bath towel cover up.

For shower gifts, I usually make a hooded towel, customized, to go with a book. (Example: Monkey towel with a Curious George book.)

We've done the crib sheets and they are FANTASTIC! They are so simple to throw together and they fit my son's mattress better than the store bought sheets. We've also done the baby wraps and our new mommies LOVE them! They are also pretty easy to sew up and make wonderful baby gifts.

You guys make it sound so easy! I hate to sew and don't really know how to sew, but after reading this blog, it makes me want to try it. Handmade gifts are so much nicer too!
