GIVEAWAY: Big Little Felt Universe & an amazing Felt Camping Set!
We are so excited to announce this giveaway because this is one of the most adorable craft books we have seen in a long time! Big Little Felt Universe by Jeanette Lim contains over 70 felt projects in full color with lifesize patterns. Now we have all seen amazing felt fruits&veggies...
but have you seen... felt cacti?
or a felt doctor's kit?
or felt tools?
or a felt laptop?
And so many more projects. Amazing! One of the things I love most about this book is how boy-friendly the toys are. We are always saying that boys get totally robbed compared to the amount of DIY projects geared towards little girls, well not this book! It has something for everyone. You're sold, right? You want the book but how about one of the ACTUAL SETS from the book. Is that something you might be interested in? Well, we have one of those to give away too. Feast your eyes on the Camping set that one lucky Prudent Baby reader will win...
So we have not 1 but 2(!) copies of the book to give away and complete felt Camping Set. And this one is open WORLDWIDE! That's right, even YOU can enter. Find out how to enter and where to get a free pattern from the book...
Leave a comment here before midnight, Wednesday April 6th. Tell us what project you would like to see made out of felt. Author Jeanette Lim has an ETSY shop full of Felt Patterns and often gets her inspiration for what to make next from crafty mamas like us. I'd like a bar set. Martini glass, olives, shaker, strainer, napkin and tray. I think it would be hilarious to have my toddler serve up some cocktails at my next party. My sense of humor is questionable like that. So what do you want to see made out of felt? Tell us. Come back and enter every day. "Like," "Tweet," "Stumble" the giveaway and leave additional comments for each. We will announce the winners here on Prudent Baby next Thursday so be sure to check back. You have 5 days to claim your prize before a new winner is selected.
Here is a link to the Banana Split Sundae Project from the book. FREE Y'ALL!
and a few mor pix...

Yes please!!!!! My 4 year old loves to pretend we are sitting around a campfire!
I love the sliced fruit, banana, and veggie sets. Such a crack up! :D
these look so fun! I love all the sets of food- I would love to see pastry items made of felt- cupcakes, croissants, tarts, cinnamon rolls.. :)
I would love a a pattern for felt furniture, or a little mini felt version of our family dog.
I would like to see a sewing machine made out of felt, and even felt spools of thread!
A felt art set would be cute: a color wheel, one of those paint mixing trays that you hold on your thumb (with some felt paint globs of course), giant paint brush, a classic french beret... I suppose an easel would be a little too much. :)
I would like to see a whole felt dollhouse with felt dolls, furniture, everything. That would be awesome!
All the possibilities! I would love to see an felt farm
I would love a whole band of felt music equipment - maybe even turn tables and some recording equipment (mics, amps, the works) That would be so fun!!!
OH how COOOL!! My little Mr. would LOVE that laptop! Super cute!!
Super cool! I'd love to see a nativity set!
I tweeted about this!
http://twitter.com/#!/lovingmom2boys/status/53524634452234240
Oh my goodness...I've dabbled in making some felt food but this is amazing! I would like to see a felt gardening set so we could garden inside on rainy days!
I "liked" this on facebook.
ohmigoodness! I love this... it would be hard to choose just one set to make! i really love the tool set and the campfire.
Of course the cocktail idea is a great one also!
Gynnab
We have gobs of felt food around here (that we love, natch) but my girl's princess obsession has given way to dinosaurs. So I'd love some felt T. rexes, triceratops, and stegasauruses!(stegasauri? Hm.)
I'd like to see some cute little farm animals.
Oooh!! Sign me up!! :)
OH, we love felt toys around here. I mean, my son does... ;) So much fun! Would love to have this book.
I see that someone else has already commented about wanting to see a felt sewing machine and that's what I was thinking!! My daughter (2) loves it when I sew, she would love a play one of her own!
I "liked" this on facebook
Tweeted this
how about more stuff for the boys? felt sporting items - basketball & hoop, baseball & bat, soccer ball, etc.
I would love a tool set, my husband is a mechanic and my son always goes outside with him and wants to work with him but we are too scared he will scratch the car. Felt would be Perfect!!!
janille
Fantastic! I've been using the Japanese felt craft books because the projects are so life like. It would be great to have a book in English!
I have to second all the comments made about a sewing machine and sewing kit. Made out of felt. That would be THE BEST!
This looks incredible! Spring is finally creeping up on us in Chicago and I've got gardening on the brain. I'd love to see a felt raised garden bed with dirt that plants can be tucked into, seed packets, half grown veggies, and gardening tools.
I've been wanting to get started with felt this would be perfect!!
I would like to see a pattern for a nativity set.
I´d like to see a VIDEOGAME version with TV (Atari, Wii, any of it!). My son would love it, and I certainly would NOT complain if he spends entire day playing :))
And thanks for the worldwide! Moms outside the US are crafty too! <3
felt iPhone!!!
My daughter has created an entire imaginary world of flying cats. I would love to see a cat with wings made of felt!
my one year old loved her first camping trip last summer!
A felt paella!
I would love little felt cars and trucks. My kids are obsessed!
I see that another commenter posted that they would like a nativity set. That was the first pattern I went to look for in the holiday section of her etsy shop
I would also love to see a sewing machine made out of felt! I love sewing, so that would be a great toy for my little girl to play with when she's older.
Felt sushi!!
Who wouldn't want to enter?! Love! Love! Love! I'm thinking a garden set. Rack, shovel pail, ect...
-Brittany
My son would love that camp kit. He is always asking us to roast marshmallows in the fireplace.
I would LOVE to see a DIY felt sewing machine!! My daughter LOVES to mimic me and it would be AWESOME if she had her own little felt sewing machine with all the fixin's!! SO ADORABLE!!
I just LOVE the gingerbread house! That's adorable.
