GIVEAWAY: Big Little Felt Universe & an amazing Felt Camping Set!

We are so excited to announce this giveaway because this is one of the most adorable craft books we have seen in a long time! Big Little Felt Universe by Jeanette Lim contains over 70 felt projects in full color with lifesize patterns. Now we have all seen amazing felt fruits&veggies...

but have you seen... felt cacti?

or a felt doctor's kit?

or felt tools?

or a felt laptop?

And so many more projects. Amazing! One of the things I love most about this book is how boy-friendly the toys are. We are always saying that boys get totally robbed compared to the amount of DIY projects geared towards little girls, well not this book! It has something for everyone. You're sold, right? You want the book but how about one of the ACTUAL SETS from the book. Is that something you might be interested in? Well, we have one of those to give away too. Feast your eyes on the Camping set that one lucky Prudent Baby reader will win...

So we have not 1 but 2(!) copies of the book to give away and complete felt Camping Set. And this one is open WORLDWIDE! That's right, even YOU can enter. Find out how to enter and where to get a free pattern from the book...
Leave a comment here before midnight, Wednesday April 6th. Tell us what project you would like to see made out of felt. Author Jeanette Lim has an ETSY shop full of Felt Patterns and often gets her inspiration for what to make next from crafty mamas like us. I'd like a bar set. Martini glass, olives, shaker, strainer, napkin and tray. I think it would be hilarious to have my toddler serve up some cocktails at my next party. My sense of humor is questionable like that. So what do you want to see made out of felt? Tell us. Come back and enter every day. "Like," "Tweet," "Stumble" the giveaway and leave additional comments for each. We will announce the winners here on Prudent Baby next Thursday so be sure to check back. You have 5 days to claim your prize before a new winner is selected.

Here is a link to the Banana Split Sundae Project from the book. FREE Y'ALL!

and a few mor pix...

I don't know if anyone else has suggested this, but my idea would be to make a planting set. You could have a little shovel, seed pouch, terracotta pot, watering can and flowers or herbs. Oh that's a wonderful Idea! I love it! (the bar set that is I've not really looked through all the other comments)
But, since I've already seen states, and kidneys and intestines and a uterus and more made out of felt, the only thing I can think of that I know I would have loved as a child myself would be...
camera like a professional type of camera, perhaps a cell phone that looks like a real one since my daughter always steals mine!
I would have also loved cookware and building blocks... like the old cardboard bricks!
We had a few sets of those as kids and we were never bored when we had those things out.
I'd still play with them now if they weren't long gone to a landfill or recycling plant somewhere... or perhaps burn pile who knows?
I really want to make some of the things that were pictured on this post! And I'm sure there's millions more great ideas in the book!
can't wait :)

oh rats... it didn't post before... :(
But the things I haven't yet seen, and I've seen a lot of felt items... ranging from the state of Iowa, to a smiling uterus! and then some.
But a camera (like a professional type of camera)
Realistic cell phones (so perhaps my daughter won't steal mine to play with)
cookware
and best of all, building bricks
Like the old school cardboard bricks.
That, if the set I had as a child were not LONG gone by now, I'd be playing with that right now instead of on the computer lol!

I'd like to see a felt selection of a fishing trip. . . complete with a fishing rod and fish (that have magnets to connect them, of course!)
