GIVEAWAY: Matryoshka Measuring Cups!

The people in my life know me so well - I got THREE sets of these for Christmas and Hanukkah! I love them so much, I thought I'd share the bounty by hosting a little giveaway.

These Matryoshka Measuring Cups by Fred M include a 3-layer matryoshka, with each side of each doll a different perfect measure to create 6 measuring cups between 1/4 cup and 1 full cup.

They're so cute, you know you want them. As you know, I like to complain about my dislike of baking, but I have seriously been coming up with random things to bake just as an excuse to use them. And of course, Scarlet loves playing with them.

So for this giveaway, tell us what you would like to measure if only you could. I would like to know, if you laid it all out, the yardage of fabric scraps I have tossed. I would also like to know the weight of ruined cookie dough I have thrown away. However, I do not want to know the weight of cookies I have eaten since Thanksgiving.

Leave your comment anytime between now and midnight next Wednesday January 12th. We will randomly select a winner (with a US address) and announce next week. Tweet, stumble, and/or share the giveaway on facebook and leave another comment each time letting us know for an additional entry. Come back every day for new entries. Happy measuring!

I would like to know the length of hair I have cut from my head in my whole lifetime. And the total length of fabric I have cut.

But not the amount of cookie dough I have eaten, because that would just be disgusting.

As for the giveaway, I would love to measure how much ink I've used in my printer at school (I teach 6th grade special education...LOTS of printed paperwork!).

And, a side note, I almost passed out when I saw these awesome measuring cups! Who knew they made a kitchen tool that I can actually enjoy!?! Ha! You see, I do 0-5% of the cooking in our family (a little spoiled, I know...hubby is a great cook, he enjoys it, I don't...and he grocery shops too - gasp!!), so I don't really get to enjoy any fun kitchen stuff since I don't use it. However, these little beauties would be so CUTE on sitting on our countertop...and cuteness is definitely something I can, and do, enjoy. And a bonus is that they're also super functional (for hubby, ya know). I'd love to look at these little guys each day, and it'd be awesome to have something in the kitchen that I can finally enjoy...haha. Thanks for such a fun giveaway and for sharing the love!

Hmmmmm....probably the gallons of tears spilled from the eyes of my 16 month old while I am making dinner and then I would measure the amount of food she throws on the floor during dinner and then after dinner I would measure the hugs, kisses and cuddles that come right before bed. See...I could definitely use a second set =).

If I could measure anything, I would want to measure all the clipped threads from all the quilting projects I have done and will do. I save them anyhow and use them to stuff the dolls I make seasonally. Of course there is never enough because it is so small, so I also have to use the scraps of fabric left over as well as batting, (LOVE to recycle) but it would be really cool to know just how much thread gets "wasted" in a project
