GIVEAWAY: Matryoshka Measuring Cups!

The people in my life know me so well - I got THREE sets of these for Christmas and Hanukkah! I love them so much, I thought I'd share the bounty by hosting a little giveaway.

These Matryoshka Measuring Cups by Fred M include a 3-layer matryoshka, with each side of each doll a different perfect measure to create 6 measuring cups between 1/4 cup and 1 full cup.

They're so cute, you know you want them. As you know, I like to complain about my dislike of baking, but I have seriously been coming up with random things to bake just as an excuse to use them. And of course, Scarlet loves playing with them.

So for this giveaway, tell us what you would like to measure if only you could. I would like to know, if you laid it all out, the yardage of fabric scraps I have tossed. I would also like to know the weight of ruined cookie dough I have thrown away. However, I do not want to know the weight of cookies I have eaten since Thanksgiving.

Leave your comment anytime between now and midnight next Wednesday January 12th. We will randomly select a winner (with a US address) and announce next week. Tweet, stumble, and/or share the giveaway on facebook and leave another comment each time letting us know for an additional entry. Come back every day for new entries. Happy measuring!

I would like to measure the amount of sleep lost in raising two little ones back to back and how that contributed to my brain turning into mush. I can't even believe I took AP calculus in high school and now it takes me 10 minutes to figure out a simple algebra problem...like calculating fabric yardage for a project!! They're older now and sleep regularly so maybe my brain is recuperating.

Oh and I adore these, not sure if my husband would use them for his weekend pancake recipe but just seeing them on my counter might just inspire me a little more!

If I could I would like to measure the (immeasurable) patience my family has had with me as I've tried to (re)develop allergy friendly recipes for my son... some have been real flops, but we're committed keeping him safe from the things that make him dangerously ill, while trying to give him all the sweet treats and delicious memories every kid should have. I think my son and I would really enjoy measuring out ingredients together (he's now reading and doing simple math) with these cups. These would be a sweet, iconic way to remember cooking with Mom - the very design of these cups says "Mama"!

I'd also like to know the amount of time I spend repeating myself. I think that would be an astronomical figure. I swear they just hear the Peanut's teacher when I open my mouth: Wha Wha Wha wawa Wha.

So pancakes a few weeks ago consisted of an entire-entire box of Bisquick (no I am not kidding, they were stick to your ribs thick). She has been perfecting her craft. So my plead is for the learning and enjoyment that this would give my little chef. Anything that helps her follow directions is AMAZING! I would love to inspire her to follow the directions more on the recipes she chooses with these beauties. Plus, they would be so cute on display in my turn of the century kitchen (it is actually a huge kitchen) which is great to cook in. THANK YOU FOR SHARING A GREAT PRIZE.
