I have to say the apple cream cheese muffins are my fav! I "say" that I make them for the fam...when really I just eat them with the refridgerator door open before anyone comes into the kitchen and catches me...

We haven't got a Christmas morning tradition yet, because I am so used to making Christmas Eve special because I am German, so your recipes might become one of our traditions, I will show my girls the pictures and let them decide. Have a lovely Christmas

I love baked french toast. This is so easy! Just take day old bread cut up into slices or chunks and if you want something extra sweet smear cream cheese all over then beat 5 to 8 eggs (depending on how much you're making) add 1/2 c to 1 c half and half and 1/2 c to 1 c milk (or use all milk but we are talking Christmas here!) with vanilla and cinnamon. Pour on bread cover and put in the fridge overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes Top with a fresh berry sauce. I think topping with some crumbled bacon would be awesome too! Easy no prep work that day all at night!

There's a bacon-sausage-egg bake waiting in the fridge that gets popped in the oven. Ready just about the time we're done with gifts!

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

my mom used to make frenchtoast sticks made in eggnog instead of milk, and I remember waaaaaayyy back, she would put a ziplock bag of brownie bites in our stocking. *sigh* good times.

OH! Those all look so yummy!

I make a savory breakfast casserole the night before, where I take bread, cube it into a greased 9 x 13 pan, top with cheese and cooked sausage, and douse the whole thing with a mixture of milk and eggs. Then, when the munchkins wake us up at O'dark 30, all I have to do is pop it in the oven, and it's ready when the Christmas unwrapping fest is done.

Sometimes I vary it by adding eggnog instead of the milk, or sometimes I add a pecan streusel to the top. It depends on my level of "sugared outness" the day before Christmas! (darn those christmas cookies!)

Before our son came along hubby and I would sleep in and breakfast was brunch with French Toast and eggs and juice....Our son (5yrs old) is not a big breakfast eater but he LOVES cinnamon rolls. I found a wonderful breadmachine recipe that makes a dozen huge rolls. I bake six for Christmas morning and save six in the freezer to bake off on New Years. :)
Merry Merry!!

My husband's family always has stollen, but I don't like candied fruit and I don't like nuts in baked goods, so it's not a winner for me. I'm making PW's cinnamon rolls!

I originally was ambitious and hoped to make a sausage egg casserole the night before, but I've been cooking all day. now it will be waffles, pancakes, or possibly that french toast recipe Timmy posted above. That sounds fantastic!

Your treats look delicious and I will definitely have to try some of them, but we already have a tradition from my husband's side of the family. We make julekage - a swedish bread with orange, cardamom, citron, and raisins with a scrumptious vanilla/almond icing! I finally got it to work this year after many years of trying. YUMMY! To make it a little more healthy, we also have a pineapple/strawberry fruit 'salad' with it for breakfast.
