But since Clickin' Moms is a site for women and mothers, run by women and mothers, the tutorials and advice are realistic for our lifestyle and how we shoot. But you don't have to be a mom to take advantage of all this site has to offer. Here is what they say about the site...

Wow, what a great site and invaluable resource for us mamas looking to expand our photography skills. The feature that I'm most excited about is the forum. So many times I've had questions about simple things, but I'm too embarrassed/hesistant to post in a regular photography forum. This site would allow me to feel comfortable posting in a forum where other moms are learning the exact same thing! :)

As for my progress with my DSLR, I've had my camera for nearly three years but I'm embarrassed to admit I'm still shooting on auto! I graduated with a photo degree in 2001, at that time we all knew digital would soon have it's day but the quality wasn't there yet. I took a few related jobs off and on and then time off to have kids. I've tried to keep up, but sad to say I feel a little out of date. I have a point and shoot that allows for more sophisticated controls, but when it comes to snapping quick pics of the kids it's most on auto snapping away. I've been lately wishing for a DSLR just to feel more professional and artsy with my subjects. Thanks for sharing the site, very much up my alley.

I have a brother who is a professional photographer and has taken the most beautiful photos of my child. However, he moved out of state a few months ago, when my second daughter was just weeks old. Poor thing; her photos PALE in comparison to her big sister's since the bulk of them have been taken with my little point-and-shoot (which I've yet to manage).

About a month ago, after reading a family update on our blog (complete with my point-and-shoot photos), my brother sent me his old Nikon D70 with the instructions, "Learn to use it." I got the point. Now I just need the lessons.

To say there's just one area of the Web site I'm interested would be a lie. Rather, if I won the membership, I'd devour the whole thing!
