GIVEAWAY: CLICKIN' MOMS MEMBERSHIP

We are excited to bring you an excellent new giveaway from our sponsor Clickin' Moms!
After diving into their site this week, I'm totally inspired to learn more about my camera and take control of my photography. As a mom, I'm typically shooting wriggly, squirmy kids. I've always told myself that I don't have time to set up shots, select aperture and shutter speed before my subject runs away. I just put everything on auto and hope for the best! But since Clickin' Moms is a site for women and mothers, run by women and mothers, the tutorials and advice are realistic for our lifestyle and how we shoot. But you don't have to be a mom to take advantage of all this site has to offer. Here is what they say about the site...

Clickin' Moms is a community of women who have a passion for photography.  From amateur family photographers to hobbyists and seasoned pros, we help each other and provide the support necessary to move each member's photography to the next level. Clickin' Moms features informative and easy to understand tutorials on photography, post processing and managing photography businesses.  Clickin' Moms also hosts contests and photography challenges with exciting and valuable prizes. Among over 8,000 members, you will learn, inspire, and be inspired.  If you aren't hooked on photography already, we will change that soon!

Sounds good shutterbugs! Doesn't it?

Dabbling with Manual? Thinking of going Pro? Already a Pro? No matter where you are, if you have any interest in taking your photography to the next level, Clickin' Moms is an amazing resource.

My husband got me a DSLR in May, and I have a few light filters, and an old photography book that I picked up at the second hand store. I wouldn't say that I'm a novice, as most of my pics turn out decent and I know how to use some of the settings, but I still have a very far way to go. :-)

Definitely interested in the photo 101 class. I have a DSLR that I don't know how to use- and it's hard to get out of the house to actually get to a class.

I'd love to get access to some tutorials that will point me in the right direction. My biggest struggle at the moment is getting the right light, and avoiding shadows.

I have an DSLR, but the most adventurous I have been with it, is to go into the 'prest auto' modes - like portrait or landscape.

I am using a canon point and shoot, but I know I could do better with some training... with two kids I need more practice to capture all the cuteness. I have a blog for my kids, and the pictures are cute, but they are not GREAT... I think the tutorials is the best feature on clickin moms for me !

So I have an SLR, & I usually shoot on Program. I just play with it. But then I shoot on automatic...when my little girl is on the move or if there's bad lighting.

I have a point and shoot Canon Powershot. I love it, it's my third, but I'm getting more and more frustrated with it's limits. I'm intimidated by the DSLR, but I want one just the same. Clickin Moms might be just the support I need to make it happen. :)

Skill level is questionable. :) I got my first entry-level DSLR earlier this year, and have ventured into the "partial-manual" modes, shooting mostly in Aperature Priority because I kind of understand it and it makes it possible for me to lose the flash (which I hate) in most situations. Once in a while I mess around with full manual but have never taken a good picture in it. Boo.
