Giveaway: Hoot Design Co Alphabet Print!

You can't go wrong with an alphabet print in the nursery, and this beautiful take from Hoot Design Co. is one of my absolute favorites. The artist, Kristen Brown, created a unique custom print for her nephew (the first baby to be born in their family) and people started asking her to make more. Pretty soon she was able to leave her job as an art director at an ad agency in Chicago and become a full time artist! Wouldn't that be amazing??

For this giveaway, one lucky reader will get one 18 x 26, SIMPLY BABY PRINT signed by Kristen in their choice of one of these three color palettes:

The Jill (girl), The Jacob (boy), and The Julian (neutral)

So to enter, we want to know what you would do if you could quit your day job and follow a dream like Kristen. I'll start: I would most definitely be a travel writer and fly first class all over the world to see everything everywhere. Maybe I would host the new version of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and tell everyone to have "champagne wishes and caviar dreams"...

Visit the Hoot Design Co store and add her blog to your reader and leave another comment for an additional entry. Share the giveaway on facebook by clicking "like" below, or tweet the giveaway, then leave another comment each time letting us know for an additional entry. Entries will close at midnight July 7th and a winner will be randomly selected.

If I could quit my job and follow my dream, I would stay at home with my son. I just went back to work not too long ago and it's so hard! Hopefully money wouldn't be an issue in this dream, so my husband, my son and I would get to do a lot of traveling too! Thanks for the chance for a great giveaway!

Well my day job is a stay at home mom, so I can't quite quit that. But if I had the time I would get more into crafting (scrapbooking, photography, sewing). Maybe start up a little biz (more than the little photography biz I have going now).

I would love to quit my day job and stay home with our children (no kids yet) until they are in school full time. My mom never had that option with us and while we didn't suffer, I was always a bit jealous of the kids whose moms were around all of the time.

I would also love to be at the point where my kids are old enough to entertain themselves long enough for me to maybe have a sewing/quilting/crafting business. I have a small etsy shop right now (lovieandboo.etsy.com) but I am not able to spend as much time on it as I would like.

Some day!

natalie(dot)bartgis(at)gmail(dot)com if I win! Hope I do because this print is so cute! I would pick the Jacob because it would look perfect in a little boy's room.

I love my job because I do graphic design, but I'd rather do it for myself than for the company I work for. I'd love to work from home and spend time with my little boy who will be arriving in October! BTW, these are the most adorable prints I've seen for an alphabet. I love how they are personalized.

I would probably try to stay home with my daughter and baby on the way part time, and then start a business to do activities outside normal work hours so those hard working mommas can have fun with their kids too ! And I would spend more time letting my creative side do its thing, and less time worrying about how much time I have :)) I do hope I win this print, I am expecting in 6 weeks and have oogled her prints for many months now and since today is my birthday, it would be a perfect gift to myself !!

WOW-so many comments. I guess everyone wants to quit their job. If I could quit and do anything I wanted, I would start a mommy and me class that would have a different theme for each day-art (go to museums), music (start a mommy and me band-i want to drum), explore (discover new hiking trails), etc.
