I love the Generation T books, lots and lots of things to do with all of those old t-shirts that I just haven't been able to part with, but will never fit in a way that I would ever possibly wear them again. They have everything in them from toddler dresses to rugs, and the first book even has a wedding dress at the end :)

Wow you have a great craft book stack! I have just started buying craft books, I bought little big felt universe, Oliver and S little things to sew, and little girls big style! So far I've just made a few dresses from little girls big style.

I love books by Lotta J. (ok I forget how to spell her last name!) and Amy Butler books are always awesome too! I totally have the Oliver and S book on my table too. I have 3 projects bookmarked and need to find something to make them out of. (soo gonna make a pink penguin backpack by September!)

I love Mary Abreu's Little Girls, Big Style. It has 4 basic patterns and variations on each, perfect for learning how to alter patterns to suit your own style.

Handmade Beginnings is definitely one of my favorites! I'm also a HUGE fan of Simple Sewing for Baby by Lotta Jansdotter, A is for Apron by Nathalie Mornu, and Baby Beanies: Happy Hats to Knit for Little Heads by Amanda Keeys. The last one got me knitting, and now I do it all the time!! Lots of quirky little hats for my kiddos.

I am dying to get my hands on an Oliver + S book. One of the books not listed here, but you recommended in an earlier post I bought and started using with my daughter. It is called 'Sewing School' and it is a amazing. We are having a blast learning to sew this summer. We've even had two of her friends join us. So I take your suggestions to heart and will have to check out all these other books!

I checked out Growing Up Sew Liberated from the library and I love it! It's definitely at the top of my list.

I highly recommend checking out craft books from the library before buying. The library books have all the patterns and everything. Plus, I've been able to cross books off my wishlist - tried them and decided I didn't want to buy after all. It's a great money saver.
