GIVEAWAY: Two Yards of Essex Linen from Fabricworm!
Last week I showed you a little stash peek of my new linens and shared a fabricworm discount code. The first thing I made with my lovely linen was this morning's old-fashioned monogrammed hankie. I hope you like it! Well, lucky us, Fabricworm is contributing to LINEN FEVER by offering us a giveaway! One lucky Prudent Mama will recieve 2 yards of this gorgeous Essex Linen in whatever color they like (that's in stock). That's enough to make a gorg Hot Mess Mommy summer skirt, or a set of napkins, or maybe a romper?
To enter, visit Fabricworm and check out the linen selection to decide what color linen you would like to win. The leave us a comment on this post telling us which color you would choose and what you would do in your lovely new linen skirt. Gardening? Napping? Cavorting on the beach in a turban like an anthropolgie model? Leave your comment anytime between now and midnight PST next Wednesday, May 18th and we will randomly select a winner and announce here on pb.
Score extra entries by:
1. Liking Fabricworm on facebook (you'll find offers over there too!)
2. Following Fabricworm on Twitter.
3. Sharing this giveaway on facebook.
4. Sharing this giveaway on twitter.
5. Thumbs-up-ing this giveaway on stumble-upon.
That's 5 ways to enter! Leave a new comment for each. Come back and enter every day! Sending you lots of linen-y luck!

mmmmm... I love the lime green! I would do anything out of the house... some adult time with the girls. :-)
I love the orange!
so hard to choose...the lime green is really pretty...or the light blue...or the coral. :) I love the feel of linen and would love to have a skirt to help me keep cool during our HOT Texas summers.
I love that lime green!

I love that lime green!
The light Blue is gorgeous!! I'd make a simple skirt for my mom (she's newly widowed and we are sending her to the beach this summer to relax!) It would be an awesome Beach skirt for her to take :) Thanks!
I would choose white and I would actually make it a tablecloth. I have been planning on making a linen tablecloth and embroidering it with this lovely pattern that I have all around the bottom edge. Does that count?
xx,
Elizabeth
the coral is defiitely my favorite. I could be found at the park with my two little fellas.
I would use the ivory to help me make it through the heat to my July 28th due date!
I would wear my new lime green linen skirt on the shores of the outer banks. Ahhh, just two more weeks!
LIked them on facebook!
the light blue looks so peaceful . . . I'd wear my linen skirt billowing as I chased our escaped chickens thru the yard . . . add some peace to our suburban chaos!

I think the coral.... a nursing top for me!
I can't decide between Ivory and Natural! Probably Ivory, and I'd make a lovely bubble skirt. For me? Or my daughter?
It would have to be the orange! There are so many things I would love to do in this skirt ~ but I can only guarantee I would be chasing my 2 year old little lady.... and twirling!!
I like Pru Baby on Facebook (which is how I found out about the giveaway :)
I like the lime. I'd wear it to go out without the kiddos!
As for what color I would choose? I am a woman that loves COLOR, so the brighter, the better! The first that stood out to me was coral--a beautiful, feminine color perfect for that cool sundress on a hot summer's day!

The hot pink is great!! But all of them are beautiful. I'd probably make something for my little one for summer time!
I'm boring and I'd probably go with natural :) All the colors are gorgeous!
I was just thinking that I need to get myself some linen to make a summer hat. I'd get the brown and embroider flowering vines all over it - then make it up into a lightweight hat.
Love that light blue and hot pink!

the orange looks great! It would definitely deserve to be worn at a summer beach party!
love that light blue. I'd wear it on a walk with my new baby!
I would use the Ivory color to make a tunic shirt for this summer!
I Like Fabricworm on Facebook ^_^
I'd choose coral and I'd make the hubby take me to a town on the lakeshore, where I'd sit on a bench and just watch all the passersby look at my skirt with envy in their eyes. ;)
Oh wow, they are all wonderful but I love the light blue. I would make a cute little dress FOR ME!

lime is my favorite.
i would a make a lovely linen skirt, because that would be nice and cool for this summer, which i would spend tending to the chickens or having tea with friends.
or some lime green and terry potholders for our kitchen.
Another person loving the lime green because it really looks like LIME - not some hideous acid vomit color! Gorgeous and deep :)

I adore the pure white. It's so crisp and clean. Sadly, I'm not a fan of turbans, but my skirt would rock the beach this summer. It might even make it to Mexico! ;)

Ooh, I think I would choose the coral. It's hard to pick, though!
My skirt would help me get through the hideously long and hot summer. Pregnant during the summer is not something I love being.
oooh I'm thinking light blue. I'm a lover of linen and have several items in white linen and taupe so going wild with COLOR would be awesome!

The lime or orange, or maybe white. Do I hafta decide right now? ;) I'd go shopping in my new skirt. :)
I would like to win the Coral linen. I would wear the skirt all summer long
I gave this post a thumbs up on Stumble Upon.
I love the light blue, I was actually thinking that we recently started supporting this girl in south africa and her favorite color is light blue and I was thinking about that i would make her a dress because it would be sturdy and pretty.
I like the light blue, or the coral. Either would look fabulous as a floaty skirt for the beach!
Love the lime green! I'd do something away from the kids:p

Lime please! And I would definitely be found napping...out on the patio if it's not over 90 degrees. :)
I would choose Coral. I would wear it shopping or going to an art gallery. : )
I would chose the light blue, then use if for a skirt that i would wear on our upcoming trip to the mid-west this summer.
I love linen lime for sure! In my skirt, I would just sit back, sip some lemonade and be happy that my skirt fit! I'm pregnant and due in only a few weeks, so something that fits nicely would be a treat in itself!
I'd love to make a white skirt with those pleats that are all pointed one direction all the way around and sewn partially down. I've had my sights on making one of those all spring! (It's already been a long spring here in FL.)
Wow...the light blue is gorgeous! I envision pairing that new skirt with a white top and having a nice evening out this summer with my husband!

Would love some lime green to make matching shorts for me and my 4yr old. It's gorgeous!
Omg I'm stuck between the light blue and light pink! I'm planning on making a diaper bag for my older sister for her little boy so I'd have to go with the light blue. I think she's going to love having a nice new diaper bag. =)
This is soooo hard! I'm torn three ways between the coral, hot pink and light blue! Eeee! They're all so lovely!
I think I'd have to have a posh picnic in my new linen skirt with pretty cupcakes and cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off and lord it over my guests as they wouldn't have such a nice linen skirt as me! ;)
Love the coral to make dresses for my girls!

I would totally get that linen lime color! It's so pretty!
I can't decide between the coral and the orange, but either way a skirt made with it would be perfect for sitting on my balcony drinking my morning coffee!

I think I would have to go with light blue, it just looks so calming. I love the hot mess momma skirt, I think it would be great for my upcoming trip the the cabin. Not too dressy that its uncomfortable but I can still look put together.

Light Blue, and I'm pretty sure I'd wear it to the park
I love the hot pink linen. It's a great, bright cheerful colour and would be lovely to be seen out walking at the park in.
I would choose the lime green and make a matching skirt for my little baby Scarlett so we can look smashing when we meet my husband on the pier when he comes back from being deployed!

Hot pink for me!
I'll be the hot mess mommy in the hot pink linen.

Light blue allllll the way. And, in my skirt I would twirl and twirl and twirl/
I am plain, so I pick ivory. But I would jazz it up with homemade bias tape (from your tutorial) and some hand embroidery.
LOVE the light blue! My daughter would be adorable this summer in a twirly linen skirt!
And of course I "like" Fabricworm on FB :)
I am currently drafting a jumpsuit for my toddler. I am going to try a stretch first but I would totally do a jumpsuit in coral! How cool would that be!
