GIVEAWAY: Two Yards of Essex Linen from Fabricworm!
Last week I showed you a little stash peek of my new linens and shared a fabricworm discount code. The first thing I made with my lovely linen was this morning's old-fashioned monogrammed hankie. I hope you like it! Well, lucky us, Fabricworm is contributing to LINEN FEVER by offering us a giveaway! One lucky Prudent Mama will recieve 2 yards of this gorgeous Essex Linen in whatever color they like (that's in stock). That's enough to make a gorg Hot Mess Mommy summer skirt, or a set of napkins, or maybe a romper?
To enter, visit Fabricworm and check out the linen selection to decide what color linen you would like to win. The leave us a comment on this post telling us which color you would choose and what you would do in your lovely new linen skirt. Gardening? Napping? Cavorting on the beach in a turban like an anthropolgie model? Leave your comment anytime between now and midnight PST next Wednesday, May 18th and we will randomly select a winner and announce here on pb.
Score extra entries by:
1. Liking Fabricworm on facebook (you'll find offers over there too!)
2. Following Fabricworm on Twitter.
3. Sharing this giveaway on facebook.
4. Sharing this giveaway on twitter.
5. Thumbs-up-ing this giveaway on stumble-upon.
That's 5 ways to enter! Leave a new comment for each. Come back and enter every day! Sending you lots of linen-y luck!

Hmmm, I think the coral would be my choice for my skirt! I would be lounging with my new baby in my new pretty skirt :D
margarine2002(at)hotmail(dot)com
Love all. Can be???? The Light Blue is my favorite!!!!!!!!!!!
I "LIKE" Fabricworm on FB!!
I'm with the lime green crowd and perhaps I would be brave enough to try my hand at garment sewing
I would use the natural linen to make summer pants for my three babes.
I'd make myself a long flowy skirt out of the lichen light blue linen and enjoy wearing it by the pool, at the beach, everywhere!
I liked fabricworm on facebook!

Oh wow, I love linen! I love all the colors, but coral is my choice. Yeah, I doubt I'd be able to cavort on the beach in a turban like an anthropolgie model! No, I think I'd just find a nice park (preferably in Paris ... hahahah!) and have a nice, peaceful walk!

I love the light blue linen and I would make something for my dinette. Maybe chair pad covers or a table cloth.
I love the light blue and the hot pink!
I think the light blue would make a lovely summer skirt for sitting in the garden with family and friends, probably crocheting!
I love the light blue linen - I can just imagine that made up in a lovely shift dress just right for shopping in town in these cross season type days (thanks too for the chance of a great giveaway lynbrs(at)gmail(dot)com
I love the lime. A hot mess Mommy skirt? What a great idea! How fun to make something for ME for a change...
HOT PINK!!!! Entering for today-May 12th!!
I love the coral and the light blue! For pillows perhaps?
I've just liked Fabricworm on FB
Oh! Lime for sure. I would wear my skirt next month in Italy.
I like Robert Kaufman Essex Linen Coral and would love to go to the park with my skirt with my little one.
;)
I can already see my beautiful girls' summer dresses in linen green or linen coral. Gorgeous fabrics!
littlebroccoli@yahoo.com
I like Hot Pink or Coral
I'm loving this giveaway!!! :) I think the Lime Green would make adorable shorts for my little bro [who has been asking me to make him something], or a fun summer skirt for myself.... with a bith of white lace and drawstring tie or 2.... My mind is spinning now!!! :)
e(dot)wielinga(at)hotmail(dot)com
Oh I'd get the lime green or coral, sew a 1940's skirt to wear with new saltwater sandals for a day out with my hubby, eating tapas, drinking red wine, listening to some jazz and enjoying some sunshine. Which is a challenge in winter here in australia. What a way to enjoy a fine linen skirt, a great day with the person you love and have some time away from your toddler who's spending time with nana for the day. Oh now I'm dreaming. Forget the housework, cooking, unfinished sewing projects and nappies meant fir the wash I want this fabric and the day out.
I also liked fabricworm and comp on fb.
I love the linen in Ivory...I would love to make a blouse
liked Fabricworm on facebook!
I really like the hot pink; it looks more like purple to me, though. I would use it as a lining for the cosmetic bags I make, or for a dress for my little one.
In addition: I followed on Facebook, posted on my facebook and twitter, and am following Fabricworm on twitter!! So that's...4 extra entries for me?
i like the light blue! fenna_otten at yahoo dot ca
I love the light blue and I'd wear it to church!
I follow @Fabricworm as @MamanADroit on Twitter!
I'm building up my sun dress collection. Living in FL requires way more than 3 sun dresses. I think a sundress made of Light Blue Linen would be just wonderful.
I love the light blue, and would wear my skirt during our summer vacation in Texas!
I like FW on FB!
I shared this giveaway on FB!
White Linen.
I would like to make my neice a skirt and a dress with this :-)
Thank you for the awesome giveaway!
Liked fabricworm on facebook :-)
I shared this giveaway on twitter!
I gave this a thumbs up on SU!
I love the Coral. I'd wear my skirt on a trip to the park with my girls.
I'm following on Twitter, too.
Ooh! I'd love to use the orange and natural to make summer hats for my new baby and me. And maybe some kitchen linens, too..
Glad to like you on FB, as well. :)
That lime is lovely. What would I do in it? Hmm, probably never take it off!!! :)
I "liked" fabricworm on facebook, can I LOVE them, too?
Love the lime green - I would wear my new skirt to church!
Oh! Lime or coral for a sunsuit for my baby girl. Or for me--it is summer, after all, and 31 is not too old for something that snaps at the crotch.
I can't decide between the hot pink and the light blue...so pretty! I think I would probably end up napping. I can't get enough sleep lately...oy! Thanks you!
I liked them on facebook! :)
Orange. I always want orange. Even when its not an option. All I would really do in my orange linen skirt is what I do every day (parent, teach, sew, read) but I would look a little snazzier.
I'm thinking the natural linen would be a great color for simply just walking around looking fantastic!
I love the coral and I would love to take my knitting to the beach and knit there while wearing my skirt
I think I like the coral!
Light blue!

I love the hot pink! and what would I do in a new linen skirt?? Go to the beach for a walk with my little girl and husband!
Hot pink!!! My entry for today-"Friday the 13th" of May!!! LOVE IT!!!
I would wear a light blue linen skirt to get ice cream with my husband and son...providing the sun comes out of hiding some time this summer!
I love the coral. I would wear the skirt on a nice evening out with just my hubby!
I love the light blue and that orange!! It would be perfect for trip to the park with my boys!

I would pick white. Although I would not make a skirt with it since I can't keep white clothing white for longer than five minutes! I'd make a summer picnic blanket instead.
I love the coral. I could tell you what I'd like to do in my lovely coral linen skirt...but truly, I'll be making breakfast, driving to school, doing laundry, (sewing!), picking up dirty socks,... You get the picture, right? A momma can look pretty while she's doin' her thing though!
I would totally love to rock the coral! I would wear it everywhere!
Oooooh! So many beautiful things could be made from that linen! When I was younger I made a full length linen skirt that turned out a bit ... funny. Would love to try a more serious one with one of these beautiful colours :)
Coral!!!! For a skirt for me!!! I have not sewn anything for me in a long time!!!!
I'm loving the Light Blue! And I would wear the skirt for my upcoming trip to Florida!
I already like Fabricworm on Facebook!
If I win I want the light blue linen. I would love to make a Hot Mess Mommy skirt out of this. I would sit in my windowless office (where I spend the majority of my life) and gaze longingly at the blue fabric of my new skirt and it would remind me of the beautiful blue sky outdoors. And I would fantasize about moving my desk out into the courtyard to enjoy the sunshine. And then I would be snapped back into reality by the ringing of my desk phone and know with a bit of sadness that it was all just a dream. :-)
Light Blue would look great in the nursery i am setting up!
