GIVEAWAY: Kartell Lou Lou Ghost Chair
Isn't this chair the cutest? I have the adult version at the head of my dining table, and a little one for Scarlet in her room. She loves it so much and screams "MY CHAIR!" if you even try to come close to it. Well, readers, today is your lucky day because Kartell Store LA is giving one Lou Lou Ghost Chair away to one lucky Prudent Baby reader. Kartell Store LA is the very first authorized online Kartell dealer, so they can ship anywhere in the world and you know you are not getting a cheesy knock off. And as any design lover knows, it is virtually impossible to come across a discount on Kartell furniture.
SOOOOOoooo.... not only are we giving away one adorable Lou Lou Ghost Chair, all Prudent Baby readers are able to share in a discount on anything in the Kartell shop. So if you've been saving up, fantasizing about, or lusting for a piece of Kartell fanciness in your life, now is your chance. All Prudent Baby readers get 15% off anything and everything in the online shop with discount code BABY15! Go Go Go!
So to enter this giveaway we ask you to share one design fantasy of yours. For example, I fantasize about a home that is clean and sparkling in shades of turquoise with never a sullied baby-stain, but the reality is that a spray bottle of vinegar is my best friend. Perhaps you envision a custom-carved fireplace mantle or a duvet made of silken threads?
Let us know your design fantasy in the comments and be entered to win one Lou Lou Ghost Chair from Kartell Store LA. Leave your comment between now and midnight next Wednesday, November 24th. Come back every day for a new entry. Tweet, Stumble, and/or share the giveaway on facebook by clicking "like" below and leave us another comment each time letting us know for an additional entry. We will select one winner using random.org and send them a Lou Lou Ghost Chair, but ALL readers can save 15% off EVERYTHING from Kartell by using code BABY15 at checkout! This some serious design fun! Go Go Go!

I fantasize about a clean simple modern home with mid century modern classics furnishing the house! Ahhhh bliss!
Carmen Weaver
I fantasize about one day being able to reupholster my own chairs and refinish my own furniture, but until I have the time and space to learn, I will keep envying all the design bloggers out there and read about redoing religiously (nice alliteration, huh?) :)
My dream would be to have a much more open floor plan with room to entertain and lots of well-designed storage so we could avoid the cluttered look we currently have...if you're going to dream, might as well dream big! :)

My design fantasy is a solid white bathroom. Not just white though, glossy-shiny-shield-your-eyes white. I would just soak in the tub there and close out everything. There is currently an army of rubber duckies breeding in my bathtub.
I dream of a new, sleek bathroom with lots of storage and counter space. Oh and a walk in shower and good lighting.
My design fantasy is for a "art gallery" house where everything from grandma's antiques to modern artwork look great. But for now toys rule the domain and someday I will reclaim my living room! THanks for the chance to win these awesome chairs! I hope I win!
wowzas! i crave a fancy finished attic, just for me to craft and do my thing. and a house with a place for everything.
Amazing giveaway! My design fantasy is having a separate area of the house for all "kid-related" things. Our toys are all over our living room because we don't have a separate area. That is my dream!
My design fantasy would include floors that are grippy enough so newly-walking socked feet won't slip, soft enough so they don't leave bonks and boo-boos on sweet little heads and chubby baby knees and firm enough that cars and trucks can zoom across them, oh and they have to clean up easily. I'd also like lots of built in storage to hide the ever-growing mountain of toys.
I LOVE the Lou Lou! I didn't realize this fabulous chair came in child's size. My toddler would love this. I fantasize about a home full of warm colors and comfy furniture - crisp and clean and organized without piles of paper and plastic toys!
Karla
I fantastize about walls made of chalkboards, So that it's ok and even FUN to draw on walls all day everyday. Which means less scolding and more giggling!
I dream of the longest wall in my living room of my 860 sq foot house to be full of built ins where I can hide our flat screen, my library of books (which sadly lives in storage), my son's books and toys, and anything else I can think of!
Hum, A pure white house with pops of color, not the kind provided by grubby little fingers. A cozy inviting house were my kids can flourish and grow up proud to bring friends over.
Can those co-existing?! I hope so...
amyholgersen@gmail.com
What a great giveaway!
I secretly dream of painting my 100-year-old woodwork white. Shhh don't tell anybody.
I dream of having a clean house (hehehe, it's definitely a dream!) where the gates look like they belong, the "child safe" stuff not only looks fantastic (like it could be in a Home and Garden instead of Family Fun) but also work (that's a dream too! Gosh, I'd settle for my son keeping his clothes on!) I'd love to have a bedroom in brown and blue, with silk sheets in a chocolate brown, nice painted walls (why we've never painted our room, I have no idea) My husband's deck could fold up into the wall instead of taking up space. And I love the idea of built in storage to hide all the toys.
I've always wanted to transform one massive wall into a huge clock, by mounting the guts and hands in the center of 12 small shelves.
Then I could make the "numbers" anything I want: flowers, candles, origami, kids blocks, photographs, small sculptures, ornaments at holiday times, etc.
I envision the diameter of the clock face being at least 6 feet across, and little or no other art in the room. It'd be an amazing statement piece that could transform the room over and over and over again.
It'd be especially awesome if I could find a mechanism that allowed for interchangeable hands, so the entire face of the clock could change with my design whims.I have no clue if such a thing is even possible.
Of course, the whole idea is dependent upon the right space.
1. A playroom for all kiddie messes, like the unfinished room in our house in vermont, which literally transformed every few weeks - from the paint on the wall (my favorite was the pink phase) to the puffy paint on the floors.
2. an open kitchen, because food is where the party's at
3. furniture by ANYTHING other than ikea (someday i hope to afford better)
4. a sewing machine and the time to use it (oh and the skills to use it right)
5. family portraits, pictures, and kiddie art tastefully creating a hallway mosaic
6. and while i'm at it, i'll throw in a japanese water garden out back
aaahh... fun to dream!!!
I fantasize about having Martha Stewart coming in my house and redoing everything...without my help.
My design fantasy is for my home to look like the inside of a La Madeleine's restaurant (without the crowds, serving line, and uncleared tables). Cozy, rustic, and French.
I dream about having a family room and a separate living room that is modern with some traditional elements. The family room will have storage space for toys. The living room is where I will relax with a good book and a glass of red wine to decompress from the day.
I have so many design fantasies! Right now, I really really want a redone giant bathroom complete with beautiful glass tiles, soaking tub, his and her sinks, vanity, etc.

OO I love this game! My design fantasy is a CLEAN home filled with Restoration Hardware furniture! I love sooo much! And a toy room for the kids! And a huge kitchen full of everything that I need. And a cleaning fairy to magically clean up and do the dishes!
I tweeted about this

My fantasy begins with replacing all the blinds that came with our house at purchase with lush, multi-layered curtains that let in just the right amount of light.
i fantasize about a house where i can walk through every room..from one side to the other..without have to step over or around something.
i am, and have been for years, obsessed with roman shades. plain kinds and flouncy chintzy kinds. i want to make some myself but haven't quite worked up the guts to do it yet.....
I fantasize about a house that is DONE--no laundry, no cleaning, no tweaking any decorations--just completely done that I can enjoy!
My design fantasy would be to design and build a smallish home one day, somewhere where I could see mountains from the windows!
My design fantasy is to have a wall of water in my living room.
I fantasize a room with lots of windows for natural light, fun upholstered chairs, beautiful watercolory bright art and no ugly textured walls that I currently have in my apartment...oh and plenty of fresh flowers!
My fantasy would be to have the discipline to stick to a design scheme and the time and money to carry it out - Oh, and most of all - a house of our own to do what we want with! Renting makes me always put off making our place look really nice.
Ohmygoodness! I dream about these chairs! My fantasy is having a lush master bedroom like some high end swanky hotel with a king sized mattress that maintains its glorious support without getting body impressions, having a two or three car garage, fully stocked kitchen with a decent stove and oven that doesn't cook unevenly, a large area for entertaining, a great room for playing (or living somewhere where it's nice enough to go outside every day), enough slick storage without looking like a meat locker, oh I could go on and on but I am happy to have a roof over my head and a loving family. :)
My fantasy is to have a craft room all my own again with lots of cheery colors and inspiration and most of all LOTS OF ROOM.
My design fantasy would be to live in a gorgeous craftsman home with the original, warm hardwood floors and moldings. It would be filled with vintage furniture: brightly colored Eames rockers, a Noguchi coffee table, and the most coveted of my fantasies, a Saarinen Tulip Table with a white marble top in the dining room (with mismatched Ghost chairs around it of course). Big fluffy rugs would be scattered around the house and everything would just be modern comfy cozy. Sigh... one can only dream...
i dream of owning a house so that i can decorate knowing that my hard work will be torn down to move in a year or two! i have so many amazing design ideas & cannot wait to utilize them!
and also, i dream of affording one of the Kartell chairs...they're so amazing!
My fantasy is to have a lofty space full of light that have the ability to open to the outside utilizing the concept of indoor/outdoor living. The outdoor space will have niches surrounded by beautiful landscapes and edible gardens.
My design fantasy would be my color blind husband letting me actually put my art school color theory to work and let me paint the house without him having to okay the choice. Seriously...he is COLORBLIND and knows it, you would think this gives me the ability to make this decision, but unfortunately that is not the case. Hubby is so colorblind that he was convinced the car he drove for 6 years was red when in fact it was plum purple!!! He had to ask all of his friends to verify that I was NOT playing a joke on him.
I fantasize about having the time to make curtains.
Like. A lot.
My design dream is to move out of my mom's and actually be able to design my life away in my own place.
I fantasize about coming home to a clean home at the end of the day with supper on the table and a warm bath waiting for me. Those chairs are cool! Thanks for opportunity to win!
I have expensive taste, but I'm pretty cheap. I love the designs at Anthropologie, but it's just not within my budget! So...my fantasy is to be able to duplicate Anthropologie home designs at a fraction of the price. :)
how to choose just one design fantasy? from modern to baroque there are so many lovely forms of design.
i'd like a crystal chandelier over my bed and ornate tufted headboard. radiant heated floors. a clawfoot soaking tub...and a housekeeper to clean it all.
but more then anything right now i'd like a place for everything and everything in it's place.
My dream home has floor to ceiling windows with bright light and clean modern feel. And a huge awesome kitchen with a big big island!
Alas, back to reality... small condo with super small one car garage.. bah
I share a design dream with my husband to own a barn style home (one-story with finished basement) with cedar shingles and white trim and an interior decorated in a cozy french country style all set on 3-5 acres of land. Sigh. Thanks for this great giveaway opportunity.
My design dream is to move out of the apartment...and into an old house with TONS of charm {and a carriage house just because how cute are those?}...and restoring it all. With my own twist of course! amandaandandy@yahoo.com
I fantasize about having a house, with a yard, and a dining room, and a room with floor to ceiling built in book shelves. And a stone smoker/kiln on a patio...
Ive always had this design fantasy since i was a child... a house with secret hallways and rooms that no one knows of. A place i can retreat to . A little place that is just mine
I have always wanted a room that is my own. no one else knew where it was and I can design and paint and sew all day long have be able to have it set up the way that I want and to be able to just let lose!
I fantasize about a room that actually feels finished. The decorations are exactly how I want them, the furniture looks just right and it just feels done.
Also, I "like" this. :)
I fantastize about hardwood floors instead of the crappy wall-to-wall carpet we have now.
I also fantasize about a long-arm-quilting machine set up in a big studio. Yeah, not a design fantasy, but could help with it!
I fantasize about a beautiful bedroom for a little girl who is due to be born next March!
I dream of a movie theater room with a big screen and a kitchen that is big enough to actually get more than 2 people in at a time
My design fantasy is that elusive dream, the House in the City. Would love to get outta our condo and into a place with a backyard and an old fashioned garden in the ground. Sigh.
I fantasize about a perfectly organized craft room that exudes creativity and elegance. It would contain yards upon yards of deliciously colorful material and notions just waiting to become lovely little wonders. And, of course, a Kartell Lou Lou gorgeous ghost chair would be the cherry on top of my swoon-worthy studio. :)
I fantasize about a smartly organized home that is squeaky clean, well decorated and cozy. Superb artwork on the walls are a plus.
Christine
i fantasize about a cottage that isn't full of leaves and dirt. who said fall is such a wonderful season?!
My fantasy would be a home decked in white. All WHITE!! Like any picture taken from Jeanne d'Arc Living...with two boys I think I can keep dreaming for now!! Thanks!
Every since I saw The Jetsons I've wanted a futuristic, fully automated, self-cleaning house that brews my coffee in the morning. Of course Rosie, the robot maid, would be part of the package.
I have several fantasy houses that I design in my head as I'm trying to fall asleep. One is a cabin, one's a beach house, and one is quite large and luxurious. They all have a different feel but share some common features: copper accents in the gourmet kitchen, multiple window seats, a large pantry, and lots of windows. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this and I'm not crazy!?!
I envision a house with NO carpet to attract juice stains, muddy paw prints, and baby barf! I would also looove a formal dining room with a gorgeous chandelier and a huge island in the kitchen! :)
O GOSH I HOPE I WIN!!!
I've always wanted a white french provincial sofa in my living room! But atlas with two kids I'll settle for my ikea ektorp with washable covers.......for now anyway!
Kudos on the giveaway!
I fantasize about having windows - glorious windows! Living in a garden view apartment will do that to you. And a craft room that has a view of the rest of the place so I can be making while keeping an eye on the kiddo! Oh, and I'd love to have a swing hanging from rustic wooden beams.
I fantasize about finally putting the house together years after we have moved...the prospect of buying a new sofa has had us paralyzed for (literally) years, so we just end up living with our sofa which has been a victim of our 3 cats!
I really just want a rug without stains on it. That is my fantasy.
My fantasy is a new kitchen with slate floors, granite countertops, cherry cabinets, and stainless appliances.
Like on fb.
I fantasize about a reading corner with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and a salon wall of old oil paintings, with a white Eames lounger to curl up in.
I fantasize about a new custom home, designed by me!!! (and cleaned by someone else!:) Clean, and sunny, bright and welcoming. Modern/contemporary, so it is warm and inviting, but yet still colorful and fun. I love bright colors as accents, hot pinks, turquoise, yellow, orange with bright white everything else! Too much fun!!!! Maybe someday, after the kids have moved out, and I can decorate how I want, instead of the best way to conceal the dirt! LOL
I fantasize about a mud room, an eat in kitchen, an open floor plan for entertaining, a master bedroom w/bath all in a beautiful, warm, modern yet vintage look (is that possible???) Thanks for the giveaway!
Such a spooky name for such a pretty chair! Love it!
My fantasy is an old sunny farmhouse, with a nice, big, organized kitchen and a cozy fireplace!
I comment about having an acceptable master bathroom!!! Our mid-century ranch is lacking in bathroom love.
I dream of chairs for my dining room table, a mid century console for our tv (ether than crates), and rugs that are not pass me downs.
I would LOVE to have a fireplace... heavenly.
A maid would be my design fantasy. Clutter and dust always ruin my decor :(
My design fantasy is to build a modern, airy home that my husband and I design on a hill property, with our own, seperate, spacious art studios, enough space to have another kiddo, an art room/playroom for the kids, terrific kitchen and a fabulously landscaped yard!
My dream is to have a big, functional kitchen with plenty of counter space, storage space with white doors and walnut counter tops. Oh, I can see it now! :-)
I fantasize about a sewing/reading room that is clutter free and organized with a home for every item that I get to rearrange any time I want and it would have a tv also! Thanks for the giveaway! jpdavis07@gmail.com
I fantasize that our bathroom is restored to it's original (1920s) beauty.
I fantasize about having a glass coffee table that is toddler fingerprint proof and repells crumbs and spilled milk... oh and a sound-proof door on my bathroom so I can take relaxing, quiet baths in peace! Haha! Is it sad that these things now count as my design fastasy? ;)
My dream design is a secret door with secret stairs inside leading to a secret lair (the children would never know!) Inside the secret lair would be a pantry just for grownups with all sorts of "bad for you" food and a library with those bookshelves that go from ceiling to floor and you have to have a ladder that has wheels and slides. It would have tons of books and large brown leather chairs and Turkish rugs. All this, I would share with my husband. Then inside another secret door, would be a bathroom with a large white claw foot tub and beautiful teal and black damask wallpaper (my husband hates wallpaper) and a pedestal sink and lots of cabinets for makeup and hair things and lots of fluffy spa quality white towels that you can never have when you are the only girl in a house full of boys. And candles, oh, the candles! No one, and I mean no one, would ever know of this bathroom. The three males in the house could fight and lament over the one bathroom in the "regular" house. :)
I fantasize about making my 1970s track house look like a bungalow filled with mid century modern furnishings. Guess it's a good thing this is not my forever house!
My design fantasy is a kitchen with white cabinets and a subway tile backsplash.
I forgot to mention that the bathroom would be soundproof so that the sounds of Call of Duty Black Ops couldn't disturb me! :p
my design fantasy would be a house where the internet and power never ever ever blink out!
it makes me feel so fussy when they do...
I dream of a house with a white couch, a few pieces of chach, and NO primary colored plastic toys in sight! Thanks for the chance.
An organized craft room without threads and buttons everywhere. Where it all looks as sparkly shinny as Martha Stewarts TV set. Oh that would be a design fantasy come true...and so would that chair considering I'm looking for seating for the kids in the basement right now, but can't really afford what I want
TEXURE! and lots of it. my house is seriously lacking in that department. :/
I dream of a clean, tidy house. At this point I don't even care about color scheme. I'd love for my house to look uncluttered, like those in the magazines. Reality = toys everywhere, a dog, a cat, two kids and a husband.
I like your Facebook page.
I retweeted the giveaway!
I have dreamed about having this chair for so long now. I feel in love with it as soon as I saw it in InStyle. My design fantasy would be to have modern family room in silver and turquoise.
I love my old state house... but it has a very old fashioned layout, I wish we could knock out some walls and open up the back of the house into a huge indoor/outdoor living space in our beautiful big garden!
and I liked it on facebook!
My design fantasy is a home with a playroom to contain (and hide) all the toys strewn around my living room.
I fantasize about having my home reflect the sea. I grew up on the ocean but no longer live there and would love my home to reflect the shades of blues and greens that come with the sea and how relaxing and calm it can be. :)
I dream of a soothing spa bathroom (designed by Candice Olsen, of course!). A walk in steam shower with watery glass tiles, a deep soaker tub (needs it's own tankless water heater!) with a crisp white quartz tub deck, heated slate floor and heated towel rack. Plus a hardy lock on the door to keep the riff raff out. Oh and a magic fairy to keep it clean.
I dream of perfectly decorated house where I can change lots of the decoe seasonaly. Storage areas to store the decor in the off seasons and a HUGE walk in pantry in the kitchen where everything can be organized neatly.
I fantasize about a danish modern house that is as comfortable as a lazy boy.
Since we live in the city, I've always fantasized about having a large farmhouse out in the middle of nowhere. One complete with a wrap-around front porch and porch swing, a kitchen that looks out onto my garden, and large wooden planks for a floor. Maybe one day my dream will come true!
I dream of a large house with a sewing room with tons of organization, and enough room to layout out fabric with out feeling crowded. I fantasize about a huge master bedroom with a king size bed, walk in closet and large jacuzzi tub.
I fantasize about a little sewing room all my own with perfectly organized fabrics and lots of table space to sew!
I dream of refurbished hardwood floors!
I LOVE these chairs! Awesome. My decorating fantasy involves white rooms, dark wood floors and a lot of beautiful, mismatched, vintagey prints everywhere with hints of the modern in the corners just to keep me in the now.
My design fantasy would be an AMAZING playroom for my daughter. Modern and fun, with bright colors and a swing!! And a slide! A huge art table and a place to curl up with a stack of books!
I love the mini ghost chairs! My design fantasy would be a clean and bright white house. Unfortunately my husband's taste runs dark with wood everywhere. I can be content with middle ground, however. :)
ooooh... my dream is to come home one day and see my huge wall going down to the basement covered in the wallpaper i've been salivating over at anthropologie.com. and a little ghost chair propped up by the front door would look divinely beautiful! yes please!!! :)
I'm dying for hardwood floors. And this chair. My daughter needs it, her name is Lulu!
I'm currently living overseas in Embassy-supplied housing, and waiting on our things to arrive. My fantasy is funds to be able to really get furniture that would look fantastic here, instead of just using the gov't supplied stuff.
i dream about updated lighting, followed closesly by a superior paint job.
My design fantasy is home ownership - anything that I own and can wallpaper, paint do whatever I want to without having to ask a landlord's permission first. Oh, and great lighting in every room.

I fantasize about our living/dining room transforming into a room that flows from library to living room to dining room with ease. It would have pops of color from the entire raindow and art would be showcased on the walls. My beautiful light blue wingback chair would sit graciously in the corner waiting for me to pull up a blanket, cozy down, and read for the evening. :) (second entry)
I fantasize about a craft room, just having one would be great. ;)
My fantasy is a visiting kitchen - one where you could have enough room for a sit down chat while chopping veggies! And to have that visitor sit in the Ghost Chair...ah, bliss!
My fantasy - a built in bookshelf within my bay window seat and a nice cushion to sit on. That way I can find a nice place to read and hide from the rest of the (messy) house.
My fantasy is a clean bright modern house with gorgeous furniture, a giant kitchen and salt water pool, and no clutter : )
I fantasize scouts house with enough space and a special place for everything!
My design fantasy is a retro 1950's living and dining room. These chairs would look great!
I fantasize about large bedrooms, exposed brick, cozy nooks and crannys, clean and simple lines. Oh, and no toys scattered around and crayon markings on the walls...
Also just shared you guys on FB!! Love your site!
I fantasize about a mid-century model home with a piazza in the middle, an open-air area with live trees where baby can play in the summer... and all the windows around the house floor to ceiling, and the house surrounded by trees, bringing the outside in, natural materials, fireplaces, scent of pine/cedar among Swedish textiles and all white ceramics... and a house-keeper ;)
I dream of a shag carpet free from stains, and a house full of Design Within Reach furniture! Oh and of course a George Nelson Saucer Pendant lamp for my dining room, and George Nelson sconce lamps for my bedside! I also dream of dark wood floors, and fully decked out chef style kitchen....oh to dream those dreams!
I want the perfect sewing armoire that has a space for everything and doors I can shut.
clean white walls that aren't wonky at all. and cement floors warmed up with lovely rugs.

one of my design fantasies is to have an open galley kitchen with a long counter between the kitchen and a living area that has a view overlooking the outdoors.
I dream of having a housekeeper.

I would love to have a well-organized room devoted entirely to my crafting hobbies. Oh, dreams. :)
I too envision an always clean home. One with simple, modern furniture, and without the clutter that seems so prevalent around here. (Hubby's a pack rat, but I'm not much better.) Oh, and can I have a self loading dishwasher too?
My design dream is to be able to buy/furnish/decorate every room in my house with all the FABULOUS things that I have in my head (& in online wishlists) all at once!
my design fantasy includes lots of bright saturated colors tied together with grey as a neutral. mid-century lines with some vintage love thrown in.
My design fantasy is to have a clean, organized living space that encompasses DH's home office, and room for us all to hang out comfortably as a family with a brand new sectional sofa! As it is one end of our living room is a huge eye-sore because DH has all his crap in a huge monstrosity of a mess/pile. Some nights I swear it creeps out and eats my daughter's shoes!

I would love to have a kitchen with one wall entirely made of glass. My sink would be stationed looking out the large pane of glass. My yard would be full of magnolia trees. So while I am cooking, cleaning, doing dishes---I can watch my children climb the trees, and I would be right there with them. The kitchen would be full of light, smiles and laughter from outside. Oh..it just makes me smile to think about it! You would feel like you were right outside in the trees!
right now i am envisioning a huge dining room with dark hardwood floors, a huge farm style old table, some modern style chairs, and an oversized chandelier with lots of BLING! i would love to have big dinner parties in this room with deep conversation and bottles of wine all evening!

Just found out we are having a fourth and would love a little glamour in the nursery!! love this chair!
I want a garden, one with flowers and large hedges and statues of Greek goddess and a fountain with sapphire blue tiles and lots of ivy and lilies and orchids. A simple swing hanging from a large tree that my kids can climb.
I dream of a huge room to turn into an art/sewing/craft studio that is so colorful and happy, I never want to leave it....AND...I can somehow incorporate a play area so I can keep an eye on my bambino while I get crafty. The ghost chair would look fantastic right in front of my dream work space.
My design fantasy is a fixer-upper arts and crafts style home, and all the money I want to make every bit of it my own! More realistically I've been fantasizing of late about painting our apartment - I just can't for the life of me settle on colours!
Liked on facebook too!
I dream of picking my 250 year old beautiful, painstakingly remodeled farmhouse up off the ground and moving it 100 feet back, so it's more than 10 feet away from the road.. however I fear that it's demise will come and we will build a new house in the not so near future.

My design fantasy is having a great master bedroom with everything in its place the paint just right. The pillows light and fluffy and you could just melt into the bedding. :0
My design fantasy would be to get my ginormous black leather sectional to fit into the basement so I can get some pretty couches upstairs :)
I dream of a bright sunny room full of windows and while we're at it (the impossible dreaming) -overlooking an ocean!
I "liked" this post on facebook. Thanks for the awesome giveaway Kartell!
ok.... So I have been really really really thinking about this and I came up with something different...(dreamweaver song playing in the background)
My design fantasy would be going away for a weekend (kid free and husband free) and coming home to a newly remodeled (new tile, new carpet, new CROWN MOLDING, new countertops) and my husband doing the whole thing by himself cleaning EVERYTHING after he is done.... Did I mention he would be wearing a prudent baby fat quarter apron???.... well he would...
I fantasize about a house that has a magic robot that cleans everything up for me! Then I can go crazy crafting and my home would still look like a fabulous designer showroom. :)
I fantasize about a home that has all the best parts of my grandmother's homes in Japan - doors that slide on rails to open the entire side up to a hidden courtyard in the middle of the city. A view of the inland sea that changes every day. A kitchen pantry just for beautiful and delicate girly tableware. I also fantasize about continuing to improve my current home room by room, piece by piece. It is a humble home, but I am still filled with wonder that I get to call this house my home.
completely dream all the time about a fully furnished house with things that have a story, that I can remember each one. this chair is exactly what I need in to finish my creating spot in my home for my crafties. ooohh. pick me.
Here is to one more!
I'd love a house done in fresh crisp colours (think white, aqua, light timber/weathered timber) and glass for a breezy beach house effect.
My design fantasy is to have gorgeous built-ins in my entryway so that the shoes, bags, cots, hats, and papers have a place to go!! Ahhh, maybe someday!

a part of my design fantasy, being able to keep plants alive in my home for more than a years time before they DIE!! i loove plants, why dont they love me back?? :/
my design fantasy is to have a lazy river surround the back of my property (as i write from my 1,800 sq ft home). i'd have speakers installed so i could listen to great music as i slowly float down it in a sunshine yellow inner-tube in the summer. in the winter, it would be frozen so we could ice skate on it.
I have always wanted to live in an ultra swanky 60's house, something straight out of boogie nights... with a view of sparkling city lights out the window! I love mid-century sleek.
I fantasize about a good-looking toy storage system for our play room - it's a mess!
I dream about a farmhouse with patchwork quilts, painted wood floors, paper lanterns, a room for the kids and I to dance to in, laundry on the line, chickens running about, and Etsuko Furuya fabric everywhere.
My home fantasy has always been to have a functioning home that is decorated comfy-modern-simple. I want a home that when its clean or a little messy it still looks good with things out of place. A home that is babyproof, stainproof, dustproof, and cost efficient is the unrealistic but wanted fantasy in our lives.
My design fantasy is more Lucite furniture! in all shapes and colors!
Oh, this is easy---just pick up my house and move it out onto 30 acres. We love our 1929 Craftsman.
clutter free Tuscan villa :)

A bohemian log cabin.
Since I lack the ability to decorate, a living room with modern decor, but still safe enough for a baby.

I fantasize about a bedroom that oozes tranquility and sophistication through a combination of traditional, vintage, and contemporary styling. Very eclectic. There would be multiple shades of grey-blue throughout the room with silver accessories and deep walnut wooden furniture. Seriously, I dream about this... (3rd entry)
I would love a completely restored Victorian house, with all the furnishings and with glass doorknobs.
I am a big old lurker but I have to try for this one! We move a lot so I want to live in one place for more than 2 years. Now as soon as I set a place up it is time to take it all down!
I liked this on facebook - gotta have that chair.
I have a design fantasy that our master bedroom would be an escape, something relaxing and a way to unwind from the day, instead of a catch-all!
I absolutely love this chair. It would be perfect in my modern but cozy nursery/playroom!
I would love to have a clean uncluttered house. I really adore swedish design and their clean lines!!
another design fantasy I have is to have a sweet (but not too sweet) and unique nursery! Something with some textured wall paper and maybe a forest theme.

I fantasize about a cottage on the beach with worn wooden floors and thin white curtains blowing softly in the beachy breeze. Aaaahh...
I fantasize about having a house in which all of the remodeling is FINALLY finished: the children each have their own room and we are not all in one bedroom; the living room is fit to sit in, with a fireplace, and we can cozy up on a soft comfy couch; we have gorgeous hardwood floors; and a huge clawfoot tub so that I can soak my tired body and have Calgon take me away :) .
I fantasize about having a floor free of milk splatters, walls free of scribbles, and a couch that is not sadly broken after an epic superhero game. And also for a maid :)
another design fantasy I have is to have a fireplace in the master bedroom

I want a "lady cave". All you ever hear about are man caves. I want a lady cave with all things feminine. Tea sets and lace and silver handled brushes and leather bound books. The best part- silence. :) And lots of Victorian-esque charm.
i dream of a set of six eames eiffel-tower dinning chairs. vintage white ones; you wouldn't have to twist my are to get me to take yellow... or orange... or grey...

My fantasy design would be to change out the style of my home every week! Sometimes I feel a little rustic, other times shabby chic and yet other times modern/sleek. Really I'd just be ok with one of these awesome chairs to pair with our rustic dining room table for that fun unexpectedness!
