GIVEAWAY: SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL!!

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS CONCLUDED. A WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCE ON FRIDAY, OCT 1, 2010. THANKS EVERYONE! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!

We are very excited! We have a Silhouette Digital Cutting Machine to give away to one lucky Prudent Baby reader! I've noticed these cutting machines before but never thought they were for me because I'm not a scrapbooker. But when the ladies at How Does She? contacted us on Silhouette's behalf about doing a giveaway and promised a Silhouette for us (well, one of us, thanks Jaime!) and a Silhouette for you (well, one of you) how could we say no?!? If I didn't like it... I could just send it back and never speak of it again. Well, let me tell you, I like it. I like it very much. And I've only just begun!
So far, my projects are simple, using the templates that come with the starter kit, but I'm totally smitten and ready to try more! Maybe even some scrapbooking!

Here is a gift tag that I made with some cardstock!

And here is a little pillow-box that I made with more of my favorite Martha Stewart Craft Paper

And then just to try something new, I did this spoooooky spiderweb window-cling in adhesive vinyl. Clare has already requested an entire Halloween scene in her bedroom windows!

Click here to find out how to enter and for two lovely offers from Silhouette!

The Giveaway includes:

A Silhouette Machine (a $299.99 value)
 Plus...
• Software for Windows XP/Vista, Mac• Power cable, USB cable
• 2 Cutting mats (one for thick media, one for thin media)
• One cutting blade
• $10 gift card to the Silhouette Online Store

To keep this fun and exciting we are going to announce a new way to enter each day until the giveaway ends on September 30th!

It's Thursday and the last day to enter for the chance to win. Just click on a few of our sponsors and/or advertisers sites and report back with something exciting that you find.... A product you can't live without? A hilarious post? A great grocery store coupon? Whatev's, let's just show them some love!

Click on up to 2 links and leave a separate comment for each! Thanks!

The winner must be in the USA and only one winner per household.
International readers, you know we love you!

The fine folks at Silhouette have also come up with two unbelievable package deals for Prudent Baby readers, but you must act fast...

Visit the Silhouette site, click shop, place the Silhouette SD in your basket, enter the discount code "BABY" at checkout and all discounts and freebies will show up in the basket

My favorite project I've tried from here is the kid pajama pants. I know they're ridiculously simple, but the pajama pants I USED to make were FOUR pieces instead of TWO, so this is like a revelation. The one I'd like to try next is the tea party set that has a tablecloth/bag and napkins and placemats!

My favorite DIY is the little one shoulder party dress. I made it for my baby girl in an owl print with polka dots and no strap. So it is just a one shoulder dress. I get compliments all the time and I always say I made it and refer them to your blog! Just love it! I have also saved half a dozen other projects in my "To Do" folder!

And now here's my second comment... with our son due in February, I was looking for good mom-blogs, and came across Prudent Baby (I think it was via Ohdeedoh, but it might have been via another blog via Ohdeedoh). I subscribed right away in my Google Reader. It's great! (And wow, this Silhouette looks awesome...)

First, I would like to say that I am in love with anything silhouette. Silhouettes are the design focus of my upcoming wedding...which brings me to my two favorite DIY projects.

First, the cameo plate. I intend to incorporate this into wedding decor.

Second, the ceramic tile coasters and trivet. I will be making these for my attendants as their hostess gift for my shower.

I was imagining using one of these machines to make garland decorations like the cute flowers you made the other day. It could cut out a more complicated shape like dinosaurs and trains for the little man. Dreams dreams dreams.
