GIVEAWAY: SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL!!
THIS GIVEAWAY HAS CONCLUDED. A WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCE ON FRIDAY, OCT 1, 2010. THANKS EVERYONE! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!
We are very excited! We have a Silhouette Digital Cutting Machine to give away to one lucky Prudent Baby reader! I've noticed these cutting machines before but never thought they were for me because I'm not a scrapbooker. But when the ladies at How Does She? contacted us on Silhouette's behalf about doing a giveaway and promised a Silhouette for us (well, one of us, thanks Jaime!) and a Silhouette for you (well, one of you) how could we say no?!? If I didn't like it... I could just send it back and never speak of it again. Well, let me tell you, I like it. I like it very much. And I've only just begun!
So far, my projects are simple, using the templates that come with the starter kit, but I'm totally smitten and ready to try more! Maybe even some scrapbooking!
Here is a gift tag that I made with some cardstock!
And here is a little pillow-box that I made with more of my favorite Martha Stewart Craft Paper
And then just to try something new, I did this spoooooky spiderweb window-cling in adhesive vinyl. Clare has already requested an entire Halloween scene in her bedroom windows!
Click here to find out how to enter and for two lovely offers from Silhouette!
The Giveaway includes:
A Silhouette Machine (a $299.99 value)
Plus...
• Software for Windows XP/Vista, Mac• Power cable, USB cable
• 2 Cutting mats (one for thick media, one for thin media)
• One cutting blade
• $10 gift card to the Silhouette Online Store
To keep this fun and exciting we are going to announce a new way to enter each day until the giveaway ends on September 30th!
It's Thursday and the last day to enter for the chance to win. Just click on a few of our sponsors and/or advertisers sites and report back with something exciting that you find.... A product you can't live without? A hilarious post? A great grocery store coupon? Whatev's, let's just show them some love!
Click on up to 2 links and leave a separate comment for each! Thanks!
The winner must be in the USA and only one winner per household.
International readers, you know we love you!
The fine folks at Silhouette have also come up with two unbelievable package deals for Prudent Baby readers, but you must act fast...
Visit the Silhouette site, click shop, place the Silhouette SD in your basket, enter the discount code "BABY" at checkout and all discounts and freebies will show up in the basket

«Oldest ‹Older 1001 – 1200 of 2645 Newer› Newest»
I saw our tutorial on making placemat pillows and can't wait to give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration!
I would love to make one of the pretty baby dresses... my friend just had a baby & I know she'd look super adorable in the pillowcase dress!
My favorite DIY so far has been the double welt cord. But if I had a little girl the tea party set would be pretty awesome too.
I'm subscribed to Prudent Baby in my Google reader!
I love all your things. I have made both versions of your swaddle blanket( they were loved gifts) and I made two of your nursing covers.
I would love to give the silhouette a try.
lbroadstreet@tds.net
I am dying to make the most flattering shirt dress and flannel scarves for ME! I am lots more motivated to makes stuff for other people, but I think it me time :)
I NEED to organize my recipes and I will be using your free download for that. Why organize if it isn't going to be pretty?!
I subscribe to Prudent Baby in a reader!
My favorite project I've tried from here is the kid pajama pants. I know they're ridiculously simple, but the pajama pants I USED to make were FOUR pieces instead of TWO, so this is like a revelation. The one I'd like to try next is the tea party set that has a tablecloth/bag and napkins and placemats!
I already subscribe in my READER!
I love your bias tape tutorials!
I've been following/subscribing and loving it!
Wow! Easy scherenshnita!!! I love it!!!!
I already follow your blog :)
I subscribed to emails! thanks!
i didn't know you COULD subscribe- even though I've been reading religiously for a while now. So now I subscribe via email :)
I already am a follower by e-mail. Love to see all the round up pictures!
oh i have been swooning over this machine. i so want to do all of the vinyl cutting around my house. i have so much to say!! ;)
My favorite DIY project of yours that I have NOT tried is the Porta-Party Tea Set. Not only do I enjoy saying Porta-Party, but I can't wait to try some creative stitching and fabric coordinating!
my all time FAVORITE tutorial is crib bedsheet. hands down. and you have so many great ones but it was just so useful at the perfect time for me!! thanks again!
I have been an email subscriber for awhile now, at least a year. love it!
I'm a follower a Google Reader!
I love this website, and am always eager to open up the e-mail each day.
The project I am looking forward to trying is the flooded sugar cookies. I always make lots of different types of cookies at Christmas, and have actually done flooded cookies...except I didn't think about using a squeeze bottle for the thinned down royal icing. Genius!!!
Thanks for encouraging us to try new things!!
You guys have so many great projects. . . I'm excited to try to the crochet bonnet. I'm new to crocheting and I have lots of friends have girls, so it will be perfect!

I love the denim baby shoes and plan on making some for my four month old little boy. Socks never stay on his feet, but his little toes get cold. We have some little Robeez he's about to grow out of, so I thought it would be fun to make some out of my husband's old jeans.

You have SO many tutorials, where do I start? I've always thought your ruffled bonnet was absolutely darling, but if I am sticking with my own aptitude, I choose the dancing (tutu) skirt. Every little girl should have one of those!

I did what I had to do!! Now, I need this to complete my little Bee's birthday decorations!!! Thanks to you, I am becoming quite the prudent Mama! I had a machine like this and it is now past tense, as there are sooooo many uses for it. Hook me up, please!!!!!! Thanks for all the ideas!
I want to make one of each of your baby dress patterns for all my little nieces!! :D
i'm already subscribed via google reader! :D
I love the toddler pants. I have all boys, so these look perfect!
I admit that I have wanted a machine like this and know I don't need it. But if I don't buy one, how do I keep up with the spending on my husbands man-hobbies? It might be my duty. I was imagining using one of these machines to make garland decorations like the cute flowers you made the other day. It could cut out a more complicated shape like dinosaurs and trains for the little man. Dreams dreams dreams.
I just subscribed to your blog!
I would love to try the heat transfer!
I think that I will give your checkbook cover a try. It looks adorable, and you are right about needing something cute to stick out of your purse!
