GIVEAWAY: SILHOUETTE DIGITAL CUTTING TOOL!!

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS CONCLUDED. A WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCE ON FRIDAY, OCT 1, 2010. THANKS EVERYONE! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!

We are very excited! We have a Silhouette Digital Cutting Machine to give away to one lucky Prudent Baby reader! I've noticed these cutting machines before but never thought they were for me because I'm not a scrapbooker. But when the ladies at How Does She? contacted us on Silhouette's behalf about doing a giveaway and promised a Silhouette for us (well, one of us, thanks Jaime!) and a Silhouette for you (well, one of you) how could we say no?!? If I didn't like it... I could just send it back and never speak of it again. Well, let me tell you, I like it. I like it very much. And I've only just begun!
So far, my projects are simple, using the templates that come with the starter kit, but I'm totally smitten and ready to try more! Maybe even some scrapbooking!

Here is a gift tag that I made with some cardstock!

And here is a little pillow-box that I made with more of my favorite Martha Stewart Craft Paper

And then just to try something new, I did this spoooooky spiderweb window-cling in adhesive vinyl. Clare has already requested an entire Halloween scene in her bedroom windows!

Click here to find out how to enter and for two lovely offers from Silhouette!

The Giveaway includes:

A Silhouette Machine (a $299.99 value)
 Plus...
• Software for Windows XP/Vista, Mac• Power cable, USB cable
• 2 Cutting mats (one for thick media, one for thin media)
• One cutting blade
• $10 gift card to the Silhouette Online Store

To keep this fun and exciting we are going to announce a new way to enter each day until the giveaway ends on September 30th!

It's Thursday and the last day to enter for the chance to win. Just click on a few of our sponsors and/or advertisers sites and report back with something exciting that you find.... A product you can't live without? A hilarious post? A great grocery store coupon? Whatev's, let's just show them some love!

Click on up to 2 links and leave a separate comment for each! Thanks!

The winner must be in the USA and only one winner per household.
International readers, you know we love you!

The fine folks at Silhouette have also come up with two unbelievable package deals for Prudent Baby readers, but you must act fast...

Visit the Silhouette site, click shop, place the Silhouette SD in your basket, enter the discount code "BABY" at checkout and all discounts and freebies will show up in the basket

Back from Smile and Wave. I LOVE baby Ruby's organized wardrobe. It makes me want to get the junk out of my baby girl's closet (and refill it with much prettier junk). Also, the paper airplane garland is too cute. If I have a son, he's getting one (or maybe I'll make pink ones for my baby girl- yep, I uphold traditional gender stereotypes).

Well, I just went over to Cooking with My Kid and was a little jealous of the dinner she made her husband for his birthday. My husband's birthday was yesterday and I had huge plans for this great dinner when he got home from work. Instead, my 11 month old is getting like 5 teeth at once and I'm not getting anything done around the house, let alone a nice dinner, plus my husband went to lunch with a friend which left him stuffed until this morning, and he worked until midnight so I didn't even see him. Now I'm just sitting here stewing in jealousy...okay, not really. I loved the chocolate waffle dessert. My husband always makes me waffles and I think I'll make this for him on his "make-up" birthday dinner :)

The projects have turned out so fantastic that I have inspired my friends to become followers of your blogs! We are now working together to improve our sewing skills as we tackle your new projects. We are even taking ideas from your bday posts as well as Hostess with the Mostest blog (http://www.hostessblog.com/)to put together a really cute 1st birthday party for my friend's daughter. What I really want to get across is that this site has brought friends closer and inspired us to get out of our comfort zone and be creative! Thank you Prudent Baby!

And maybe I sound like a broken record, just echoing what everyone else said, but who doesn't love FabricWorm? I found her when I was pregnant last year and needed a ton of fabric to sew everything in my sweet little bird's room. My favorite are her quilt bundles. Armour Etch makes me laugh whenever I think of it.

My husband had a few minor scratches on his glasses that were bothering him, so instead of buying new lenses, we used our favorite personal consultant Google, which told us to use Armor Etc...h.

What seemed like several hundred coats and polishes later, the glasses were completely destroyed. I am sure it was no fault of the Armor Etch but the person (me) that applied it so over-zealously. The good husband tried to wear them regardless, but they were left with such a film that you couldn't even see his eyes.

I have been drooling over the Silhouette for a while now... oh, there is SO much I'd love to do. I'd probably start with some papercrafts.. and my boys would LOVE the heat transfer capabilities and the temporary tattoos!

Sponsors - Bake it Pretty

I am actually going to place an order for some of the chocolate molds they have! The buttons would be perfect - a am planning a ball/everything round first birthday party for our daughter. I love buttons and chocolate - what could be better than chocolate buttons? :D
