The Bias tape machine looks incredible. I would love one. Jaime, I'm right with you on the laundry folding machine. Laundry is my most hated chore of all and with a Three year old and a 9 month old I am swamped with it. Wouldn't life be grand if there was a machine where I could just dump all of my laundry into and it came out the other side washed, Dried, and folded (Heavenly!). Is the entry closed July 9th at midnight? It says June.
I would love a machine that cuts out sewing patterns. I hate cutting them out, it takes so long! Maybe they should sell already cut patterns, I would totally buy them!
thanks for the catch KtLizbet i made the change!
I need an invention that cleans the bathroom. This is a task that I really seem to hate and put off until absolutely necessary. The rest of the house cleaning energizing, but bathroom cleaning is a soul-sucking endeavor at my house.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I like the pre cut pattern idea. Cutting patterns stink. Love this bias tape machine. I got it on my Amazon wish list.
I want a robot that will teach my kids to put their own things away. Failing that, I want a robot to put the kids' stuff away
i'd like a photographer on staff - i feel like i experience so much of my kids lives from behind the camera instead of enjoying the moments. the pix are priceless, but...
i NEED this machine! me + bias tape = rad projects.
This machine is so cool and already on my Amazon wishlist. Dinner time needs simplifying in my life right. We try to cook and eat as a family so we don't have much time before the baby goes down for the night. It's so hectic. So, I'd love a dinner-making machine (and I already have a crock pot - I want a machine with more variety!).
Ohh! How cool is that?!? It sure would make MY life simpler. That, plus a remote robot vacuum cleaner thingy to suck up all the cheerios and mega blocks my son leaves on the floor.
I agree about the laundry thing, but I would also like something that does all of my four girls hair for church on Sunday mornings so I don't have to stress about that.
I follow your blog!
Also I'm a follower on twitter.
and blogger.
I would love to have a machine that does both my hated chores; the dreaded cat litter and laundry (although not at the same time). Any machine that can do that, I'd pay a pretty penny for!
Would LOVE to win this!!
My life would be simplier if I had a money tree! But for now, I will settle for a free bias tape maker. :)
Also I follow your blog
I just had a baby boy and clothes organization (my own) is my top priority. Somehow my husbands' and my own laundry never quite make it to the closet where there are plenty of hangers and a dresser. Perhaps I need to make the closet a beautiful place too. Then I'll actually want to open the doors! My husband and I have worked hard to make the rest of the house beautiful and liveable, but our own bedroom is pure chaos. I'd like a genie or fairy of some kind to come and clean it up. Once a place is clean, decorating and organizing it is a cinch... it's that cleaning part that gets me down. :) As part of that organization, part of the bedroom will become a project area in which I'd LOVE the Bias Tape Maker. I added it on Amazon a while ago after reading your blog about its glory. :) I need to make some good baby boys' clothes...
please!!!pick me, pick me!!!
i have been looking for one. and free sounds much, much better.
every seamstress/sewist should have one of this.
I would love a machine that loads and unloads the dishwasher but until that day, I'll just keep having my boys do it! :)
Thanks for the chance to win this wonderful contraption, I'm tired of burnt finger tips! -Michelle
I would like my coupons to be simplified - if they would clip and organize themselves each week, that would be fabulous!
I also follow your blog!
Shared on Facebook!
Ohh, I love the bias tape maker!! And I'm right there with you on the laundry folding robot that also puts folded clean laundry away! A automatic vacuum that sweeps the staircase would be awesome too!
I follow your blog!
I shared this on Facebook.
I need someone to simplify my house keeping process!
Well this would simplify my life! But I would love to find something that could organize my patters, so i'm not spending time just getting them out, before I make any cuts.
I follow you blog! It's one of my favs!
Oh I would love to have a bias tape maker. Right now, I need childbirth simplified. I was due 3 days ago, but he is taking his sweet time. I would like to program in a specific date and time for the contractions to start and then for him to be born like 30 minutes later with little to no pain. :) haha I can dream, right?
If I had a robot that could do my job, then I could be free to craft it up all day! A bias tape maker could help me really utilize that little free time I have. Fingers crossed!
I don't mind at all doing laundry or even folding laundry, but the putting it all away has me procrastinating days and days. I have a magical machine that is usually unmotivated as well, my children--so perhaps a fairy godmother would do just the trick! Thanks for the opportunity to chime in and enter for a chance to win!
At this very moment, as my baby is crying and the kids want a snack, I'd love an extra of me. That sure would simplify things!!!
Just tweeted the giveaway @punkinthreads
Just shared on Facebook for all my crafty friends to see! (There are A LOT.) :) Thanks again, both to Simplicity and Prudent Baby!
I'm a fan on facebook!
I need an instant pick-er-up-er around the house. When my husband and 2 year old blow through, it looks like a tornado hit my house. Some magical wand that would make everything go back into place would be awesome. Oh ya, a bias tape maker would simplify my life too (in a more realistic kind of way)
I shared it on Facebook!!!! I'm dying to get my hands on this bias tape maker!
I would LOVE to win one of these!
I would say that I don't like switching the laundry from the washer to the dryer...weird right? Anyways, I have always wanted to invent a basket that fits in the washer and is removable so that I can dump all the wet clothes at once into the dryer....I bet there is even something like that out there...I just cant afford it:)
I need a dishwasher that loads itself. I don't know why, but dishes always end up piling in the sink instead of being loaded as we go, so I'm stuck with a full sink until I work up the motivation to touch the whole batch of nasty dishes.
The bias tape maker looks awesome! I really need to simplify housework, cooking and laundry so I can have more time sewing....or perhaps making bias tape by the yard? ;)
Great giveaway! I would invent a washer and dryer that would just a one step laundry machine. I would just put the laundry in and soap. The machine would wash and automatically dry. Then it would magically transfer all the clothes to their proper dresser drawers and closets.
I'm an avid follower!
Something that needs simplifying is my home! With a toddler and a baby, we now have too much stuff! I guess I could work on that instead of reading blogs. Or not :)
Thanks for the great giveaway!
I also follow. Thanks!
I would LOVE a bias tape maker! We are signed up for a CSA share each week this summer. I LOVE the fresh, interesting veggies. So I would love an in home chef that came up with fabulous fresh meals using our CSA veggies each week. Heaven.
This machine looks awesome - oh the things I would make! As for simplicity...I really need someone or something to simplify all the wonderful craft, sewing, and DIY ideas that I find online - it's overwhelming!
this would be awesome to win...all of the cute things you could make with homemade bias tape...so fun!
I neeeeeeeed this. I waaaaaaaaant this. I must haaaaaaave this.
ummm how about some sort of machine that would create and serve yummy dinners for me as i am not the biggest fan of cooking??
the bias tape maker would be pretty great too!
thanks for the giveaway!
My crafty area needs simplifying. I have stuff crammed into drawers and behind doors and none of it is organized and I have too much stuff for crafts that I started but never got into.
I would love some sort of magical device that could do all my "work" work for me so I could craft all the time!
I follow via Google Reader.
I'm 13 weeks pregnant, and my husband and I are desperately trying to finish our basement so we can move the things in the spare bedroom down there and create a lovely nursery upstairs....only things keep getting worse. We found severe termite damage in our house, which has delayed everything! I would simply like a simple device that can fix the termite damage and continue finishing our basement, so that I am not a hugely pregnant woman trying to finish a nursery!!! Whew. I need to go lay down now...
Thank you Prudent Baby and Simplicity for letting me blow off a little steam! With the time consuming house situation, a bias tape maker could make sewing little baby items easier and faster!!!!
I would like a machine that turns my wet clothes (straight from the washing machine) right side out... I hate having to stick my arm halfway down those cold, wet, sleeves and pant legs. Yuck and Brrr! While the machine is at it, it could just hang them up for me, too :-)
I'm a follower, too :-).
I'm a religious follower of Prudent Baby and have been given so much inspiration that I save all my favorite posts in file to keep on hand (the file is HUGE).
So, if we are using our imaginations and not limiting ourselves to reality...I want a machinge that would enable me to do my chores and daily mundane things in super speed thus leaving me with loads of extra time to truly spend quality time with my children. It would give me enough time to do all those wonderfully enriching activities I want to do with my kids but never get around to. Not to mention possibly doing something crafty and fun for myself more often with out the loss sleep time.
i'd like a robot wife, just like the jetsons had. she could do all the things the husband & i would rather not do, freeing my time to sew & play with the fam.
so, yeh. a robot wife for sure.
I would love a device that would magically suck up all dog hair before it even falls to the ground. We have a 95-lb german shepherd, a beagle, and a kitty, so we are always battling pet hair! We do the combing, the brushing, the daily sweeps around the house, but it is still the bane of our (or maybe just my) existence, haha.
Great giveaway! I hope I win!
That laundry machine sounds great, and I would also like a machine that does the dishes for me. Wait. That exists already?
Oh and Im a follower!
I love this machine ever since i Read it on your blog!!!!! I wish there were a machine to help me organize my house!
i just tweeted this.
and also put it on my FB
I wish I had a machine to wash the dishes after dinner each night.
I want a machine that cleans my whole house, and does laundry, and dishes! I WANT IT ALL!! I would love the bias tape maker!
I need someone that fill and empty the dishwasher for me... :)
shared on FB!!!
I would love a washing machine that automatically finds all the stains and gets them out without me having to do anything but dump in the clothes and add soap. That would be a big time saver in my house with 5 year old twins:)
mnrruss@hotmail.com
And I am a subscriber.
I would love to have a machine that unloads the dishwasher for me. Even though it's such an easy task, it's one that I always avoid until the last minute, as in, it's time to cook dinner, the sink is full of dishes that can't go in the dishwasher b/c it's still clean, & I need room & dishes/bowls, utensils to prepare & cook dinner!
I need help with clutter! So many things find their way into my house and onto my counters (or any flat surface) and make themselves at home. Maybe I need a house with no flat surfaces.
Oh, and anything that could organize the toy chaos in my boys' room would be heaven sent.
I follow you on facebook.
I want an automatically cleaning kitchen. I love cooking but HATE clean up. Counters that wiped themselves down, dishes that float into the dishwasher, and pots and pans that scrub themselves. Ahhh... I bet that's how it happens in Heaven.
I like you on FB.
Also, I follow your blog!
And I "liked" you on Facebook! Rock on.
I need a machine that will clean my dishes. What's that you say? It already exists? Just not in my kitchen, I guess. Someday...
I don't mind folding clothes so much, it's putting them away that I detest. A magical machine for that would be great!
Great giveaway!
I want this thing!!! It is my magically invention that would make everything easier. :-)
Thanks for a lovely giveaway!
The most magical of machines on my wish list is a trash-taker-outer lol. My Husband requires "reminders", it gets annoying.
Sounds like we all need our very own Rosie from the Jetsons! I was just telling my husband the other day that I wish my dryer had a fold and put away setting..surely that invention is right around the corner!
Or how about some type of vacuum in the doorway that sucks up all the dirt from your shoes before it can be tracked into the house!
I hate folding and putting the laundry away...I'd love a little robot friend who could do it for me! And also self-cleaning toilets. Definitely need one of those.
I too hate folding laundry and putting it away :( Wish that could be simplified for me. Also hate cutting out fabric pieces..wish I could hire someone to do that for me then I'll do the sewing part...ha ha
I would love for everyone to ready-hair and teeth burshed, appropriate shoes and jackets, and all their stuff for school- to walk out the door in the morning!
I hate giving up my morning snuggles to have to get up and get ready for work. I want Simplicity to make a warp machine that takes gives me all that extra time in the morning with my munchkins, warps me ready-made to my desk in the morning, and then back home to snuggle at 5 pm!
Grocery shopping - I HATE grocery shopping! If only I was rich enough to pay someone to do it for me!
FYI - you can buy the Simplicity Bias Tape Maker on Walmart's Website for $60 :)
Drool!
I need a house that keeps itself clean and uncluttered with minimal intervention from me. :)
A duvet cover that really REALLY doesn't shift around? Even with all the buttons and ties? How hard could it be? Maybe duct tape will do the trick :)
A shrink ray would be awesome. Just think how easy it would be to stash your fabric, pack your clothes for a holiday, or move your things when you need to be in a new apartment! ZAP!
I would love to have a tantrum robot to deal with my 15 month old's newest fun trick - the mega meltdown!
Also I follow your blog!
decorating my house... it doesn't come as naturally to me! :)
ummm, they did invent it cause i NEED that bias tape maker to simplify my life. pretty please with sugar on top!
My mind needs simplifying. There are a million thoughts a minute flying through up there. It's enough to tire a girl out.
But after making my own bias tape by hand yesterday, I'd love to have a machine to do it for me!!
i'm a follower, too!
I am pregnant and need a way to tan my back and the back of my legs when I am at the pool. Having a belly makes it impossible to lay on my stomach on those pool chairs. I would love to see a pool chair that has a little sliding door that opens so your belly can hang through, and then of course some sort of inflatable tube underneath that your belly can rest on.
I love getting some vitamin D but hate being tan on the front and white on the back!
The bias tape maker looks awesome. I've never made my own, but I'm sure that would inspire lots of new projects. I would love something to simplify house cleaning, I hate hauling supplies up and down the stairs, not to mention it takes forever. Thanks for the giveaway!
I must have an instant transport machine. Our family lives all over at the very least 6 hrs away and now that we have a little one making time to see them is even more important but I really don't like long car rides!
I would love to win this!! I have not yet mastered the art of making bias tape and I'm sure this machine would help! I agree with a previous commenter that a machine to help cut out sewing patterns would rock my world. This is my most hated aspect of sewing.
Oh this is perfect - I just figured out how to use bias tape, making you girls easy shirred dress! My desk needs to be simplified. I would like someone from HGTV to pop on by and make it functional, cute and somehow move everything so that my 18 month old can't get to it. Just a small task.
I would LOVE to have one of those!!! If I don't win, I think I'm gonna take part of my smartphone fund and buy one!
I wish there were some device/method to keep my four-month-old's pacifer in her mouth. As I'm reading all the comments, she's fighting a nap, and spitting out the paci to wake herself up. I've probably gotten up 10 times already!!! Shhh ... she's finally asleep
I subscribe to your blog in my Google Reader!
I'm also a follower!
I wish Simplicity would develop a whole house duster. I could just flip a switch and all the dust would be gone!
Shared on FB and a follower! :)
I LOVE this giveaway! Thank you!
As for simplicity, I would love something that simplifies the way I sleep (30 wks pregnant). The ever increasingly complicated mess of pillows on the couch just isn't working for me.
My bonus room needs simplifying! We have a ping-pong table up there, but it's covered in sewing supplies and giftwrap. We should sell the ping-pong table but I'd have to CLEAN it first. Then we have to figure out how to get it out of the house. I think it has to be disassembled.
I need something that fills and empties the dishwasher. Ugh I hate doing dishes even with the dishwasher. LOL
where do enter for the bias tape maker??
I've been coveting this machine since I first saw you use it! My whole life could use simplifying, can we just clone me?
Awesome giveaway! Thanks!!! As for simplifying something in my life: definitely clutter. Wish there was something (besides me!!) that could sweep the house of all the clutter AND put it away where it goes!! :)
How about a machine that will potty train my kids? If it couldn't do that, then maybe it could just change diapers. That would simplify my life.
I'm also a follower in my google reader!!
I follow your blog!
I would like a dishes robot. Oh! And one to clean the floors. While I am wishing why not one for every chore. Then I can sew and play with my little man all day!
Great giveaway. All these jobs that just never end - laundry, dishes, sweeping/vacuuming, and we even have the luxury of automatic machines. I liked the comment about dusting though, I could use a tool for doing that.
I tweet about the give-away too!
I'm a follower and I hate to do laundry too. But I would like the machine to also sort out too small kids clothes and donate them, before my kids notice they're gone (:

pick me, this is what I need to simplify my life, I have to run to Joann's every time you post a new tutorial, because It always involves bias tape and I am always out!
For constant inspiration I am a Prudent Baby follower! My favorite google reader read.
Putting away the dishes needs to be simplified! Maybe some robot arms so I don't have to bend over anymore! I've seen those dish drawers but you'd still have to bend over to get the bottom drawer. Yes, robot arms it is :)
Posted on facebook!
a machine that'll dust my house!
I need making dinner day in and day out (along with clean-up) to be simplified, oh and ironing too.
heidiemyers@gmail.com
I couldn't figure out how to be a follower, other than on twitter (which I don't have), but I am subscribed to you in my reader, have been for a while, does that count as a follwoer?
My life right now would be much simpler if kids came potty trained! :-)
I "liked" you on Facebook :)
I subscribed to you in my RSS Reader.
This bias tape maker would make my life easier, prettier, and it looks so fun. I have been wanting one - my husband is sick of hearing about it!
I need to simplify my kitchen counter. Somehow it's a magnet for, oh, everything.

You know how at junk yards there are those super magnetic cranes that can pick up all sorts of cars/ parts? I need one of those, and for each of my kids toys to be magnetized.
A machine that would take my meal plan and then go through the grocery store and pick up the ingredients and put them into my cupboards/fridge!
I am a subscriber/ follower!
And I am a follower

I don't mind folding laundry but I would LOVE a laundry-putter-awayer. Please.
I would like to have my socks back. Somehow after I wash them they disappear. And we pair them with clips for wash.

I need a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich maker to make 4 sandwiches every morning. This is getting super monotonous!
I would love a machine that rotates leftovers so that we don't forget about them...or one that at least flashes warning signals when I pull one out that is (way way) past it's prime....you know, the ones with their own little science experiments going on, that have been shoved back in a corner for so long it screams and scurries away when you reach for it ;)
I would love to win this!
I am 34 weeks pregnant with baby #4 and would love a "squatter". I need a device to do all the squatting and bending that has become difficult. Until this fabulous device is invented I will continue to use my 3 and 5 year olds.
Thanks.
Andrea
Definitely a machine to do all the washing! a conveyer belt to pick up the dirty, put it in the machine, hang it on the line, fold it and put it in the drawer
I would also like the washer/dryer/folder/put away machine for laundry. It is never ending and my least favorite job. Sigh...until that day, I guess the "machine" is me. GREAT GIVEAWAY!!

I "like" Prudent Baby on Facebook :-)

I wish I had a way to simplify cleaning my floors - we have tile, linoleum tiles, hard wood, and carpets, and I use three different tools to clean them each week. I wish I had just one.
Oh, and I "liked" this on facebook. :-)
I wish I had a way to simplify my schedule so that everything still got done and nothing was ever missed. Maybe I need a fembot look alike that I could send on some of the not so fun errands!
i need all things kitchen to get simpler.. I need a real life Rosie from the Jetson's :) Yeah for bias tape!!!!
I would like all my home repairs to be automatically taken care of. I can dream, right? I would love this bias tape maker!!
Ooh! I would love a machine that puts the laundry away. I actually don't mind the rest! And perhaps one that plans meals. And dusts. We have a huge dust problem in this old house. :)
The idea of the bias tape machine makes me giddy!

I keep trying to figure out a way to have a lint roller trail behind my dog to pick up all the fur he sheds. That way, I wouldn't have to break out the Dyson daily!
I love that bias tape maker. Is that something I can put on my baby registry? LOL
I just need a machine to put laundry away!
sarah.e.madsen AT gmail.com
Something to make my life more simple. Mmmm? Well my mother always taught me to wash and iron all my fabric before I cut my pattern. I don't do it because I would never get anything made. So I would love to have a machine that washed, dried and ironed all my yards and yards of fabric for me head of time. :)
awesome giveaway, thanks.
i want a machine to scrub kitchen and bathroom, like a roomba.
