DIY Checkbook Cover Part III
How do I follow Scarlet's Amazing Indian Elephant Birthday? It's beautiful, isn't it?
But Prudent Baby must go on so I'll jump right in.
Here is a fabric checkbook cover that I made using Jaime's tutorial. I took her advice and slide 2 pieces of heavy interfacing into the slit on the inside at the very end then ironed it flat to activate the adhesive. It worked really well. I sent it to my mom as part of her birthday present! She loves it!
This fabric is pretty old, it's from Alexander Henry and can be found here although the price is outrageous.

Yes, I do love my checkbook cover. I'm amazed you found the fabric online. I can't even remember how long I had it before I gave it to you.
So cute...what a way to dress up the mundane job of writing cheques :)
Just found your site and love it. Plan on making a few of these covers this afternoon. One change I plan is adding a velcro tab to keep the cover closed. Thanks
