I'm still very new to sewing, so I don't really have a favorite fabric designer or collection yet. I did make my daughter a dress out of this fabric: http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?CATID=cat3063&PRODID=xprd769064 and I love how it looks on her. The colors on my screen don't do the fabric justice...
I really like the vintage charm of Jennifer Paganelli's Elizabeth fabric from Flower Power.
I'm just ordering Alice Kennedy for Timeless treasures, very cute owl prints and stripes! And I could've used this book when I mad my good friend a patchwork quilt for her baby shower!!
Oooh... I think I would love to start a project from this book with some of those great organic fabrics from Cloud Nine!
I'm totally in love with Nicey Jane by Heather Bailey.
I honestly do not have a favorite fabric or fabric designer! It is whatever fits my mood or "suits my fancy" at the moment. I guess you could say I'm an "emotional fabric consumer". Thank you for the opportunity to win this book!
I find that usually when I see something I like, it ends up being a Michael Miller fabric. Carnival Bloom is a good one, Sandi Henderson apple dot too... My favorite print in my whole stash is a MM called Santa Barbara.
Even though I don't have kids yet I do have two Yorkies, so I get to use the modern whimsical and novelty stuff to make things for them!
I haven't tried quilting yet - it intimidates me because I'm not very good at sewing. But I really want to try it.
I'm new to quilting but as far as other home sewing projects go, I pretty much love anything made by Waverly.
Thanks for having this giveaway!
