You may remember in August our adorable Storyboek Whale Watch Schroom Fabric Friday Giveaway. Well, today Cynthia from Fabricworm and Birch Fabrics is back with the Storyboek Seahorses Sun fabric from Jay-Cyn Designs.

Sea turtles -- my brother and I kayaked right over a big one when we were in Hawaii a few years ago. It was a good reward for me agreeing to kayak... I'm terrified of water so it was a big deal!

I hope this isn't a duplicate entry, but mine seems to have disappeared into thin air...my favorite are sea anemone. I have always loved the way they look, and how they close around your finger if you touch their centers. Then I saw a beautiful sea anemone quilt at the Pacific Northwest Quilt Expo in Portland, and it renewed my love.

Here in Seattle we have the coolest sea anemone! They are so colorful and fluffy. Some of them disappear in the blink of an eye when they sense movement. So amazing!

Prochlorococcus! What is that? It is the most abundant photosynthetic organism in the ocean. Basically it is a REALLY small algae that populates a very large part of the worlds oceans and it is what I work on every day. I like sea otters too ;)

I love dolphins so much! They are a fascinating and complex species! Of course I adore most sea creatures, the ocean is amazing. I love the spirit of this fabric!

Well, I'm due in June. Regardless if it's a boy or girl, this fabric would be fabulous as crib sheets, crib skirt and curtains. OR a beautiful quilt!
