lovin' the toddler sewing basket. i have been wondering how to get my girl involved. thanks for all the fun ideas!
I know! Moved to TX from NY in 2005 & could hardly believe when the drive-thru gal asked me over & over to say "S-H-A-M-R-O-C-K S-H-A-K-E". I honestly figured it was because English seemed to be her second language. When the manager & now another employee were staring back at me in the window as though I had asked for shrimp scampi, my first disappointment with living in the Lone Star State was confirmed. Why? Why? We're back on the East coast now, so I'll have one for you. Unless VA, has joined TX for some reason. (Didn't know the Ronald McDonald House story; thanks for sharing) Such a long comment for just shamrock shakes. :) So enjoy your site.
OMG! Kansas doesn't have shamrock shakes either! Tradgedy and travesty! Life is unfair-- but I guess I just wanted you to know, you are not suffering alone. :(
Thanks for posting about the sew-a-long and helping to spread the word!!!
Excited about Vanessa's dress project!
(and I wish I had the balls to put a couch that pink in my living room. awesome.)
I love the toddler sewing basket... but knowing what my toddler does to my crafting supplies I'd say she'd have that one messy in 2 seconds, flat. Maybe I just need to get over it and let her be messy.
My mom, my daughter and I are going to get to work on 3 pillowcase dresses. Maddy only wears dresses and the fancier the better, she was devastated to learn that some little girls don't have one!
Thanks for the link. . .you have no idea what that has done for me!
