Squeeeeee! I can't believe Jacinda actually has pom-pom trim left! It doesn't last long in my house, if I don't use it my little one takes it for her "sewing"!

Ohmygawd, those pom-poms... yesterday I attacked a lady at Joannes because I saw bright yellow pom-pom trim in her cart. After she told me where they are hidden in the store, I found them and was tremendously disappointed - the only other color they had was ugly golden :(

I also got so excited I called them pon-poms :D

I love myself some Pom-poms. I had no ideas there were so many lovely colors! I got some white in a box of old ribbons and lace from a friend who was cleaning out her mothers sewing area. Her mom had passed and neither her nor her sisters had any interest in sewing. Their uninterest is to my benefit because I also got a box of old buttons!

my daughter saw a tiny little bit of pompom trim hanging off my sewing table and said "ooh balls!". I said, "well, sort of....they're POM POMS! OOH!" and she replied...."OOH...BALL BALLS!" ha!
The kid is cute! We could use some more ball balls around here!;)

So I had a plan to make everything for my daughter's nursery... bumper pads, crib skirt, chair upholstery, curtain. I got the first two done, the third halfway done, and the poor little curtain just never happened. She's turning one next week, so I thought it might just be time to get her that curtain. Did I mention it's just ONE valance... It better be good (read: include pom-pom trim) after a year!

I want this trim to put on a tote bag with Bikini Snowladies embroidered on it. The perfect finishing touch.
