A Contest for the Non-Sewist!

Did you know that Brother makes something other than sewing machines? Yup, among other fantastic items (like the P-touch, eek, I want!) they make a slew of printers. Printers for the home, printers for the office, and one very special printer for Prudent Baby (us) to give one crafty Prudent Mama (you?) for being the craftiest of all. Do you need a new printer to print out a Prudent Baby pattern? Or perhaps a recipe binder? Or maybe you have a printer but it prints out a mere 8.5"'x11" and your projects demand 11"x17" prints. Or maybe you're printer only, well, prints and you long to scan, copy and fax as well? Or how about that lonely white back of the paper, maybe you need double-side printing? Well ladies (and one or two crafty gents?) get ready to rumble. Our next contest prize is the impressive MFC-J6510DW Professional Series Inkjet All-in-One Printer.

Are my fellow paper nerds drooling? Are you wondering what you have to do to be entered into such an exciting contest? We can't tell you quite yet but if you are signed up for the monthly Prudent Mama newsletter, you will get the scoop on Thursday in the March(ish) edition. That's 5 days earlier than we announce the contest here on the blog! 5 extra days to work on your entry!

YES!! We don't own a printer. Since having our baby girl it hasn't been in the budget. I have to drive to my parent's home to print patterns and coupons. Thank you for this chance.

Just let me know who you all need "taken care" of...heh heh...J/K...but I will do just about anything else...

I'm totally in for this!!! :) We bought a printer a couple of years ago, but the ink is expensive to replace, and costs more than the actual printer did...and refills are almost just as expensive..lol...I could justify the ink price if I could do so much more with it than one sided printing only. ;)

Wow, this printer is smexy. I have a Brother sewing machine that I bought used from Craigslist and it's been the best $30 I ever spent! I could totally use this printer - I love making invitations and announcements, and this beast would be a perfect addition to my office!

That is the fanciest printer I have EVER seen. Ever. I used mine to print our wedding invitations a few years ago ( <-- that was me being nonchalant about anniversaries and whatnot). It went from brand new and lovely to a piece of junk that I haven't been able to bring back to life. Apparently bits of gold leaf and silk thread from pretty Japanese paper will gum up your printer eternally. Who knew?
