Silhouette In Action

I am working on a little Valentines Day tute for you, and I thought I'd shoot a video of my Silhouette in action so you can see what the fuss is all about. Don't laugh at me!

What do you think? Don't lie to me, you know you want one. And now you can CUT FABRIC WITH IT TOO. Don't even get me started, all I want to do is lock my family in a cage somewhere and play with this machine until the wee hours of the morning. Sigh. If you want to learn more or get your own head on over to Silhouette America.

This brought a little tear to my eye. Not only could I make an infinite (yes, infinite) number of fun crafts if this little machine lived in my house, but I could occupy my daughters with the job of punching out all those little holes in the stickers/vinyl/cards etc etc etc. It would be almost as good as a cage, and not quite as indictable. :)

Oh man. I SO did not need to see this. I was just whining to my hubs last night that I NEED one of these after my 3 hour stencilling project was a massive fail. His response was snoring, so I'm thinking he's not on board yet...but I'll keep working at it. And the cutting fabric....ack! That gets me all kinds of pumped.

Be sure to let us know when the Silhouette washes dishes and the Mr. will be sure to say okay then. ;)

Stop it! Stop it! Stop being an enabler! I'm still fighting with my Bias tape machine (that I didn't win from the table runner contest). Uh and I entered for the Silhouette contest soo many times (because I want one..sniff), and I have pot holders on the brain.

How do you guys do this? How do you have the time to do so many and make so many things? I'm convinced you're robots from the crafting industry and there's an army of you. Your diabolical plan is to take over the world one craft at a time. Muah ha ha haaa!!

I still love you though.

the silhouette is awesome. i find myself looking for excuses to use it. let's just say we will have paper shapes hanging around our house for every holiday of the year, and probably for all the non holidays too!

I am becoming obsessed with mine, and I *may* have jumped up and down the day it was delivered. Love the cage idea...might have to try that (we are on snow day #3) :)

These comments are hilarious! I so love hearing your voices on the videos! It's like we are real-life friends! (Which we are, but now I feel like we're besties!) Thanks for showing us! I definitely didn't quite get how it worked until the video! :)

Thank you for rubbing it in! Sounds like an awesome machine! Does it cook and do laundry too? :-)

Did you say CUTTING FABRIC.....EEEK!! That would be awesome!! I have a love/hate relationship with my Cricut right now because it will not and I repeat will not cut fabric *tear* :(

I caved and bought one.

And it is sitting in its box on top of my sewing machine which is sitting in ITS box.

So, the economy should be thanking Prudent Baby because I keep buying stuff. I should maybe learn to use some of these toys, though . . .
