I'm totally overanalyzing this now. Excited that two of my potholders are up here, but wondering if that just means these are some of the good ones that definitely didn't win. What a nut job I am huh? :)

It's exciting to see some of the others though, so many beautiful and creative ones!

Oy vey is right! These are all works of art! Will anyone actually want to use their pot holders and dirty them up after so much work?! Good luck on making a decision. I am sure we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg if there are over 800 entries!

Wow. Wow. Wow! What a fun contest that was! I want to make more now!!! So many, many cool potholders out there! The embroidered writing with grandma's cookbook -- so cool. And, might I say, some very talented photographers... I don't know where the two are that have green grass in the background, but boy, am I envious... :)

Jess- i was sad to read your comment. everyone has to start somewhere and i'm glad you entered. i think its great that you did. please don't be disappointed in your creation, its yours and you should be proud of yourself for what you accomplished. each time you sew, you learn something new (i think) so keep learning and keep sewing and be confident in your work!!!

Yay! This is so fun to see what everyone came up with. I love how the entries span the whole spectrum from understated to embellished, from cute to chic...can't wait to see more!

Hang in there, Jess. I came into this knowing that I'm a pretty new seamstress and that my cheapie old machine (with all its clunks & rattles) probably wasn't going to turn out anything as marvelous as some people are capable of...but it's fun to challenge ourselves and think creatively. I'm still waiting to hear the big news that Brother is adding 869 sewing machines to the giveaway. ;)
