Giveaway: $50 Gift Card to Storkie!

We're so in love with our new sponsor, Storkie! Storkie offers the cutest selection of baby shower invitations, birth announcements, baby thank you cards, and baby birthday invitations.

And guess what? They're giving away a $50 gift card to one beautiful* Prudent Baby reader! You can choose from pre-designed cards, or you can make your own custom photo cards, which everyone loves to receive, I mean, I love baby pictures (jacinda). When someone has a new baby (jacinda) I love to get and see pictures of that baby (jacinda).

Soooo, what do you have to do to enter this giveaway? First head over to Storkie to check everything out, then come back here and tell us what your fave product is. Then, since storks deliver babies to us in their beaks, go ahead and tell us where your kid thinks babies come from. I like the Bebe A La Mode invite pictured up top, and my kid thinks babies pop out of your belly button. I'm not ready to explain it to her! Don't judge me.

Leave your comment anytime between now and midnight next Wednesday January 26th. We will randomly select a winner (with a US address) and announce next week. Tweet, stumble, and/or share the giveaway on facebook and leave another comment each time letting us know for an additional entry. Come back every day for new entries. Happy commenting!

Since I'm expecting in Spring, I went right for the Birth Announcements. Love the bumblebee Adorabug or Little Sprout designs! Cute! I love that recycled paper is available for the cards as well!

Oh those GORGEOUS Personalized Christening Cookies!! This is such a great site. Thanks for linking it on Prudent Baby. :) My only child is just 6 months old so doesn't know or care where babies come from, but my youngest niece came to my baby shower. I told her I was growing a baby in my tummy, and she asked where they sold baby seeds. :)

I love the Sweet Shoppe invitations for my SIL who is expecting in August.

My daughter (20 months) thinks babies come from magazines and pictures. And she loves to say the words BEBE!

I love the thank you cards! I have two showers coming up so I will need them! I think my favorite is the "Baby Shower Gifts Couple" thank you card. And...no kids yet, but I can't wait to see what other people's kids think!

My favorite card is the Girl Ducklings in the baby shower bunch. I'm having a girl in May and I have a 15 month old boy. I don't think he understands the concept of a baby yet. He likes to try and touch their faces when he sees them but no questions on where they come from yet.

HI! My favorite at Storkie is the High Tea birthday invite which would be perfect for my 5 year old's birthday party in March. She has her mind set on a tea party.

So . . . we have told our children that when two people are in love they ask God for a baby and then God puts the baby in the mommy's belly. They have totally accepted this for now. But the funny thing is when I unexpectedly got pregnant with my third my oldest overhead me talking to my Mom about being stressed about having a third. Later my son said, "Mom I'm sorry. I really wanted another baby brother or sister so I asked God to put that baby in your belly." Oh my goodness could he be any sweeter?!

I Love the Hello cupcake and since we're planning my eldest son's 3rd birthday and my youngest son's first, this was perfect timing! My older son thinks his brother came from the hospital. I think he quickly forgot that my belly was HUGE! *phew* I wouldn't want that to be his childhood memories of mommy!

Wow there are soooo many options! I'm so glad now I know about it. I think Jacinda should get the gift card that way she won't have an excuse not to send her friends the pictures. :-)

Hey there - It's kind of hard to pick a favorite from Storkie, but I love the Cowboy Joe Birthday invite, the Rose Booties baby shower invite, and just about all of the photo baby shower invites. My son's birthday is coming up and I am currently planning a baby shower for my sister's first pregnancy :) Storkie has some cute stuff!

My 5 year old thinks that pregnant mommies go to the hospital and the doctor lets them pick out a baby and then their tummies get smaller. When we had our son (now 3) my daughter said, 'Mommy, why didn't you and daddy pick a girl baby from the doctor?'

I like the blue and white wedding invitations... and found the photo cookies a little creepy. (Do you really want your friends to eat your photo??)

My 5 year old knows that a baby grows in a mommy's tummy, and that you have to be very sweet to your aunt after she has a c-section since babies make boo-boos on mommies tummies...

how cool are those party favors!! LOVE them...well our little one is 15 months..and I am 7 months pregnant..when I ask her where baby brother is..she lifts her shirt and points to her tummy. She has sweet moments too when she will softly pat on my tummy and give it a kiss..although I fear in a few months she will think this kid came from a horrible place destroying her "only child perfect world order" lol ...

The moment you posted storkie.com, I knew I had to use them for my baby shower invites. There are so many to choose from though that I love! One of my favorites is the Hip Baby Shower. Since this is my first, I don't have a little one to ask where they think babies come from (I'm also the first of my friends to have a baby too). But I love these invites never the less.

I LOVE these baby shower invitations. I am currently putting together dates of when to have my first baby shower so this is perfect timing! I would choose "Painting the Baby's Room" since my husband and I just bought our first house and our goal is to be moved in and settled to host my baby shower there.

This is my first child so I will be waiting to see where he thinks baby's come from :)

I love the Double Double Mint, which would be great for us since our twins will be turning 1 Feb 2nd. Our oldest, now 3, never asked about where the babies came from, but I do have a funny belly button story. He thought I was nursing the babies from my belly button and one day I caught him lifting up his shirt and trying to place his belly button to the baby. He said to me, "Mama, I give milk now." I may have to save that story for his wedding.

I never got around to making/sending out birth announcements for our first child, so now that child #2 is on his/her way the lovely and ready-made birth announcements definitely caught my eye.

Our little man hasn't caught on yet about the whole concept of a baby growing in mommy's tummy, so I don't have any explaining to do yet. Looks like we're going to rock his world when baby #2 comes at the end of the summer...

Cute site! I love the birth announcement with black and white baby toes... there is just something about baby feet that is so precious. Our little girl (2 1/2)hasn't yet figured out to ask the where babies come from question, and the idea that Mom has a baby brother in her belly is just not possible... she's having a sister no matter what.

I love the Gumballs on Blue Thank you card and also ALL the holiday wrap cards. What a great idea. I tell all our girls that babies come from God, but the other day I mentioned off-hand about the stork, and my oldest didn't know what a stork even was?! And then she wanted to know what they were doing with babies? I may have confused her...

I love the "Four me?" birth announcements. I am due March 1st and my almost 3 year old tells everyone that his little brother is in his hole. He lifts up my shirt and pokes my belly button. He and my 4 year old both think the baby will be coming out my belly button and I am perfectly fine with that :o)

A friend of mine is having a baby boy in June so I had a look through the Shower Invitations and I love, love, love all the baby feet ones but if I had to choose one it would be the Black and White Baby Feet. When I had my son, my daughter was 4 and she really wasn't up for having to share so when she came to the hospital she asked since they had all those empty baby beds couldn't we just leave him there? She just thought I came and picked him out to take him home. She said someone else would take him and not to worry.

I love the polka on black baby announcements. Now if only I had a baby to announce :( Maybe next year. As for where babies come from, my son is too young to have an opinion, but nephews think:

1. that they burst out of you stomach and stretch marks are where they broke you, and

2. you lie on your back and they crawl out of your mouth

What gorgeous cards! My kids are 4, 2, and 6 months. My 4 year old hasn't been too curious yet. Thank goodness!!! But now that I've had our 3rd baby and he was well aware of it, he keeps wondering if there is still a baby in there and if not, why is it still big? Rude!

I love the Babywood and Ready to Pop shower invitations. They both fit me perfectly (as a movie buff). There is talk that my shower is going to be themed. They are thinking "A Star is Born"!! I can't imagine more perfect invitations for the shower. :D

This is my first baby! My niece, Laila, is 3 years old. My sister told her about the baby in my tummy. She lifted my shirt to look at my belly and said, "Well...where is her?" (I like how it is a girl already) I said, "She's in my tummy." She looked at me and shook her head and said, "Rah Rah she's in the hospital. She'll be here soon." I just nodded and said, "Yeah she needs to grow a little." She said, "Yeah she has to get strong." :D I love it.

I like Hello Cupcake, perfect for a boy or a girl party. Our third (of four) believes he is from Ikea - we may or may not have a large number of Ikea pieces in our house, I may or may not enjoy shopping there. Don't judge me. He is white blond and, therefore, Swedish looking ;) I've no doubt that if you could buy kids from Ikea, then he would be the boy version. Except he wouldn't be flatpacked. And we'll have to spell his name with a few extra consonants.
