Giveaway: The Best of America's Test Kitchen 2011

This book is so lovely!  More than just a cookbook, it's filled with details & descriptions of how to cook and why, scientifically, things are done the way they are done.  So many yummy recipes as well!  Take a look...

Yes, please, I'll have three of each. You know we love America's Test Kitchen - Jacinda even got to tour their kitchen earlier this year. This cookbook would make a great man gift or addition to your library. We love the details (and drawings) the most:

Check the book out here: The Best of America's Test Kitchen 2011.

So to enter this giveaway, tell us what the best thing is that you cook. I'm famous for my clay pot garlic chicken, but secretly I love plain old green enchiladas with everything from a can, yum.

Leave your comment between now and midnight next Tuesday, December 14th. Tweet, stumble, or facebook the giveaway and leave us another comment letting us know each time for an additional entry. Come back every day for new entries. We will select a winner via random.org and announce next week here on PB.

Happy Cooking!

Perfect recipe for today, St Lucia Feast Day. St Lucy Saffron Buns...yummy, pretty, and so festive! I can't wait until my little girl is older so she can help me make these. She's still working on her fine motor skills at the moment. Lol!

We LOVE panini's!! Everyone loves them in our house. We put out a spread of Italian bread, tortilla wraps, whole grain bread as the base. Sauces: Mayo, Miracle Whip, Mustard, Butter. Meats: Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef. Cheeses: Provolone, Swiss, Cheddar. Extras: Lettuce, Pickles, Onion, Sprouts, Salt and Pepper. Everyone assembles theirs just the way they like it and then we lightly rub EVOO on the outside and pop er' in the Panini grill. Delicious!! :)

I have lots of requests for the recipe for my Eggplant Parmesan. Wish I had a recipe to give! It's usually just thrown together and rarely tastes the same.

My daughter asked me the other day how do you make your Chili? My response was I'm not sure, I don't have a recipe. I started throwing out ingredient ideas and said that sounds good doesn't it? That is what I love about cooking, it is always a surprise!
