Giveaway: The Best of America's Test Kitchen 2011
This book is so lovely! More than just a cookbook, it's filled with details & descriptions of how to cook and why, scientifically, things are done the way they are done. So many yummy recipes as well! Take a look...
Yes, please, I'll have three of each. You know we love America's Test Kitchen - Jacinda even got to tour their kitchen earlier this year. This cookbook would make a great man gift or addition to your library. We love the details (and drawings) the most:
Check the book out here: The Best of America's Test Kitchen 2011.
So to enter this giveaway, tell us what the best thing is that you cook. I'm famous for my clay pot garlic chicken, but secretly I love plain old green enchiladas with everything from a can, yum.
Leave your comment between now and midnight next Tuesday, December 14th. Tweet, stumble, or facebook the giveaway and leave us another comment letting us know each time for an additional entry. Come back every day for new entries. We will select a winner via random.org and announce next week here on PB.
Happy Cooking!

I make the best not-authentic chicken enchiladas
Yum. I make an Italian pot pie in a cast iron pan. It has a layer of biscuits baked right on top. yum.
The best things i make are yeast breads. I love to bake, and I love Cook's Illustrated!
Perfect recipe for today, St Lucia Feast Day. St Lucy Saffron Buns...yummy, pretty, and so festive! I can't wait until my little girl is older so she can help me make these. She's still working on her fine motor skills at the moment. Lol!
We LOVE panini's!! Everyone loves them in our house. We put out a spread of Italian bread, tortilla wraps, whole grain bread as the base. Sauces: Mayo, Miracle Whip, Mustard, Butter. Meats: Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef. Cheeses: Provolone, Swiss, Cheddar. Extras: Lettuce, Pickles, Onion, Sprouts, Salt and Pepper. Everyone assembles theirs just the way they like it and then we lightly rub EVOO on the outside and pop er' in the Panini grill. Delicious!! :)
Liked and Shared this on Facebook!! :)
Count me in! I love America's Test Kitchen recipes.
Everyone seems to love my Summer squash casserole! It's so easy to make. I love this giveaway.
I have lots of requests for the recipe for my Eggplant Parmesan. Wish I had a recipe to give! It's usually just thrown together and rarely tastes the same.
eggplant parmesan
LIked this on Facebook!
Thanks :)
Jen
I posted a link on facebook!
I love to make banana bread, with white chocolate chips and chopped pecans. So yummy on a chilly morning, toasted with butter. *sigh*
Have linked on Facebook, as well
My daughter asked me the other day how do you make your Chili? My response was I'm not sure, I don't have a recipe. I started throwing out ingredient ideas and said that sounds good doesn't it? That is what I love about cooking, it is always a surprise!
homemade scones with dried fruit are another favorite in the house.
I am known for my baking; gingerbread cookies, snickerdoodles and chocolate chip cookies..
My best dish is a baked penne with cauliflower and creme fraiche! Yum!! Great giveaway.
Macaroni Casserole. AKA slop in a pot in my house. and homemade pierogies. I love to make both of them!
I liked this on facebook too!
My sweet potatoes at thanksgiving and christmas... I rarely make them because no one in my house eats them, but my in-laws and extended family begs for them every year!
I make a really good (and really easy) black-eyed pea and sausage jambalaya!
I LOVE America's Test Kitchen recipes - one of my favorite PBS shows! Sharing this with a lucky/fortunate/blessed fan of your is a wonderful thing. Everyone needs a really good cookbook.
OH I am such a big fan of ATK, please pick me!! pretty please, with sugar on top?

i'm pretty good with green bean casserole and homemade chicken noodle soup; both are family recipes!
I'm known for my desserts - especially cookies! Whenever we're involved in a potluck, people always double check to make sure I'm bringing something sweet!
Definitely NOT my pies!
I am famous for my chicken chile quesadilla.
No Knead Bread. I need more dutch ovens to make more at once, since it disappears so quickly.
I make super yummy cinnamon rolls. It's something I've always loved making!

sweet chili in the crockpot - yummo!
My personal favorite is eggplant parmesan (not made frequently due to workload and calorie load), my husband loves my can of coke pot roast, and my inlaws can't get enough of my Christmas cookies this year!
LOVE cooking and LOVE America's Test Kitchen! Thanks for the opportunity to win this fantastic giveaway!!!
Liked it on FB too!
Yum! Does it come with those cupcakes that are on the cover?
Hmmm...I think others would say torta de tres leches, though I just love any type of homemade soup.
