Giveaway: "About A Boy" Pattern and Circa 50 Organic Fabric Set from Fabricworm!

How much do you want to make this adorable bag and hat? We are giving away one "About a Boy" Make it Perfect Pattern by Toni Coward and the fabric to sew the whole set with! This is the cap your boy will always reach for first. With adjustable velcro tags at the back, it won't going flying off his head when a sudden gust of wind blows and will protect him from the heat of the sun. The Satisfying satchel bag is made especially with boys in mind. The patchwork detail on the flap gives a bit of funk without going overboard. LOVE!

But that's not all! We are also including ONE FULL YARD EACH of these three AMAZING new fabrics from Monaluna for Birch Fabrics Circa 50 line to make your new pattern with:

We were lucky enough to see these fabrics in person at Quilt Market and we just fell in love with them! They are all-new, just-launched, hot-off-the-presses, and made with 100% organic cotton. The colors and designs are just so fresh AND boy friendly! You can check out the whole line at Fabricworm.

So to enter this giveaway, let's hear it for the boys!  Tell us something awesome about a boy in your life...your son, your dad, your husband, the pool boy, whoever.  I'll start: My dad loves pastrami sandwiches, egg creams, black & white cookies, and Mallomars.  There's no deep insight here, I just think he has rad taste.  Come back everyday for a new entry. Become a follower, share on facebook, or tweet the giveaway, then leave another comment each time letting us know for an additional entry. Entries will close at midnight June 9th and a winner will be randomly selected. GO LADIES GO LADIES!

My favorite boy is my DH. My hubby likes to cook and is way better than I am. But he'll eat whatever I make and is always willing to try something new. He loves to garden and so we have fresh veggies and lots of beautiful flowers. He is just the greatest.

My brother has three sons and they've just welcomed a *surprise* baby girl into the family. It's so wonderful to see him fall so hard for this little girly girl after having only boys in the house for so long. The boys, too, are so taken with this new creature in pink!

I am lucky with my guys :)

My husband had never held a baby until my nephew was born just 3 months prior to our own firstborn's due date...he looked SO uncomfortable holding him I cringed every time I thought about what would happen when our time came. But the first time they placed our own tiny newborn (tinier by 3 pounds by the way!) in his arms it was a perfect fit and you would never have known he hadn't been doing that his entire life. I fell in love with him all over again that day. :)

I have two sons, and it's getting more and more difficult to determine who is more awesome and sweet. That's a pretty great problem to have! My oldest is so giving he would give a stranger the shirt off his back. He can't stand to see his sister's (or me) cry and he tells us all that we are beautiful every chance he gets. My youngest son must hug me about eleventy billion times a day! He loves kisses, too. Almost every time he looks at me, he tells my he loves me. My guys are pretty awesome!

When we were younger, my sisters and I would sing as loud as we could in church so we could drown out our dad who can't carry a tune, but would still sing his loudest. Funny thing is, my dad needed hearing aids the whole time and didn't know it. After he got them, his singing volume went down, but the tune never got better:) Love him!

In my household, it's Halloween EVERYDAY. You never know what he's going to be in the mood for that day. All you do know is that when you wake up and your weary eyes come into focus, you will see him standing there, on the side of your bed, dressed in full costume...waiting for you to notice him. He might be Wolverine. He might be Avatar. He might be Spiderman, wearing a Superman cape, with an Incredibles mask on and goggles on top of the mask. My 5 year old is Superhero in training.

I have four wonderful boys in my life. Yes, I am a mother to four sons. One of my sons has aspergers so he is truly the special man in my world and I feel so blessed to be a part of his life and to be chosen by God to be his mother. Lincoln is now 15 years old and I was told the other week for the first time in his life, that he seems normal thanks to alot of therapy and Jesus.
